Overview
Capture Jet will reduce your restaurants HVAC requirements
by allowing you to lower your kitchen exhaust air flow rate.
This guide provides assistance to the AOW markets for their
business decision on implementing Capture Jet.
The HVAC savings stated in this guide were calculated using
results from in-restaurant tests in hot, mild, and cold climates.
This guide has sections articulating New Store Savings and
Existing Store Savings.
Other cities and store operating conditions not listed in this
guide can be easily calculated.

Savings Criteria
The savings stated in this guide are based on the
following McDonalds restaurant conditions:
One 2 clam grill
Two 3 vat fryers
Store operating for 18 hours/day.
Savings will be greater if larger hoods are
employed and/or operating for 24 hours/day.

How to Use this Guide

1. Go to the New Store or Existing Store section.


2. Find your AOW map in that section.
3. View the listed savings for your markets major
cities.
4. The payback in years for investing in Capture Jet is
listed for different electrical rates.
