NARRATIVE REPORT
All children have the right to be protected from violence, exploitation
and abuse. Yet, millions of children worldwide from all socio-economic
backgrounds, across all ages, religions and cultures suffer violence,
exploitation and abuse every day. Millions more are at risk.
The interventions made by the school will be essential part in child
protection. Practicing No to Bullying is a way of inculcating to the children
that violence brought conflicts.
The school is guided by the DepEd Order No. 55 s. 2012, entitled
Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 10627,
otherwise known as the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013.
During the General Assembly, parents and guardians were educated
about the dynamics of bullying. The meeting was also a venue in
enculcating the rights of the child and the protection they need. This was
also included during the Homeroom PTA meeting.
Pupils were also supplied by their rights. In fact, posters regarding this
were hung in every classrooms of the school.
Reports regarding bullying was only minimal. The intervention of the
school might have helped lessen cases. Facts were filed and documented by
the school trough the class advisers and Guidance Office.
F. Oringo Sr. Elementary School is also active in the Barangay Council
for Protection of Children (BCPC) and we proudly say that Barangay City
Heights is the Overall Champion in BCPC Award.
But still, F. Oringo Sr. Elementary School
hope of our country.
