Single fluid. Widely used for low, medium and high

temperature applications (ET 40/+16C). Regulated
by the 1987 Montreal Protocol. Within the EC, the use of
virgin R-22 is prohibited as of Jan 1st 2010.

Single fluid. Long term replacement for R-12. Best

performance in medium and high temperature applications
(ET 20/+25C). Suitable for new systems and retrofits.

Zeotropic blend. Interim replacement for R-12. Best

performance in medium and high temperature applications
(ET 30/+13C). Suitable for retrofit purposes but
regulated by the 1987 Montreal Protocol.

Near-azeotropic blend. Long-term replacement for

R-502 and R-22. Best performance in low and medium
temperature applications (ET 45/+8C). Most suitable
for new systems.
