“Pressing In”

“PRESSING IN”

Paul says “Now brethren I do not want you to be ignorant of the mystery of Jesus Christ.”
The prophets of old looked forward to His day because they could not experience what we
have because they were still bound by the law. They were still in bondage they were bound
under the shadow of things still not manifest.

In this day we are to live not by law but by grace. We have had the veil rent between “The
Holy & The Most Holy.” We may choose to live in “The Outer Court.” We may choose to
live in “The Holy Place” or God may choose to have us live in the most intimate place “The
Holy of Holies.”

In the outer court there is Grace, but in that place man still lives with his fleshly way of
thinking, he will concentrate on self, he will be concerned about the external things of life, he
will concentrate on his outward appearance & he will strive to bring about his own healing by
his own thoughts & works. He is a fool because he has still not come to the realisation of what
the sacrifice entailed; He is still controlled by the carnal man. “The Outer Court” is flesh.

Flesh must die, then we may take the next step into “The Holy Place.” In the Holy Place we
will find “Grace & Pardon” as in the outer court. We will also find a struggle with flesh
because now we have discovered “Soul.” Soul the one in between. We know there is more &
as we press into the soul realm our flesh will fight. He will not surrender of his own free will.

Here we stop looking at ourselves, here we start to press into the next realm but again soul
will not give up the fight easily. Soul will still be looking for the earthly as well as reaching for
the Heavenlies. Soul has a choice, God will never force the mind of man, it will always be a
free choice. Here man may stay or he may reach into the depths of his God given spirit & cry
out for more. He may wonder why there are times when he has the victory! He may cry out in
the depths of his darkest hour & ask the Lord why? This is all for a reason, this is all part of
God’s plan.

Did not Jesus pray, “Father I ask that they may be one with me as I am one with you?”
Our mentality as the carnal man, will not let us see this wonderful truth. Has he not given us
His Spirit that promises to lead us into all truth, again I say “ALL TRUTH.” In “The Most
Holy Place” is the victory. Here we rely not on the outward sacrifices of ourselves but in the
total & absolute sacrifice of “Almighty God Himself, His blood was shed for us.” The Word
became flesh & thought nothing of Himself but only to lay down His life as the “Sacrificial
Lamb.” Why? Because this is where true intimacy begins.

This is where flesh & soul have died & there is only spirit. This where we know who we
are, this is where the walk with the Lord when the cool of the evening begins, in the most
comforting time of the day. When work has ceased, where all we want is to be in the loving
embrace of Almighty God. Here is where is the struggle is over, here is where we have
complete trust & confidence. We have “walked through the Valley of the shadow of death”
We have with the flesh & tried to live our life the way we thought it should be, we have put our
faith in ourselves, we have wrestled with “good & evil” the good & evil within ourselves, our
self righteousness, our works & the carnal man, but now we know he is dead, & has been
buried.
In the “Most Holy Place” we are under the shadow of Almighty God, He completely covers
us. Here He says “be Holy as I am Holy” do you not see the awesomness of this statement.

 “Pressing In”

Here my God has vanquished all His foes, He has put every enemy under His feet, He has put
every sickness, every bad habit, every despicable sin that man has concocted in his vile
imagination, all of these He has overcome.
Don't you see my dear brother & sister this is the mystery of the Gospel, this is where
Almighty God desires His children to be, this is what He desires us to see. Stop wrestling with
vain imaginations, stop wrestling wiith the conflicts He has already put them under His feet.
All was trampled upon & eliminated at the Cross.

Though I die daily I can look at my actions & know that all was made victorious on the
Cross, though I may see a body broken with illness, I know that the victory was at the Cross.
When will we see that this was 2000 years ago? Why do we still want to fight a battle that's
been over for centuries.......... STOP!

Don't stand in the “Outer Court” rise up! Put on the armour of God, put on the armour
which was given to you centuries past. Place the sword in your hand defeat the flesh of your
carnal thinking. Take the sacrifice into the “Holy Place,” carry it with both hands, hold the
blood walk right through & go with Almighty God into the “Holy of Holies” there the blood
must be sprinkled. There is not one trace of flesh or soul thinking here. Here we must worship
God in Spirit, here only spirit remains. Don't you desire this experience, I know that I do! Here
is where the word of God say's “WE MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT & IN TRUTH.”

Now I am speaking on a personal note. I am not afraid of the night, for the light is greater!
Is not my God greater than what man expects of me. I fully trust in the Lord Jesus. You know
that when I am told to do such & such about dealing with my disability I realise it is only the
carnal nature of man trying to take me back to the Outer Court. Praise God I have been given
the victory, “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS
ME.”
Because the blood has been offered, I now wear the robe of Christ's righteousness, I now
can be a Royal Priest in His sanctuary, in His Temple. I am His Temple. “DO YOU NOT
KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF ALMIGHTY GOD.”

Praise God for His mercy & patience. As the sanctuary of old was to be a place of worship
to Almighty God, but through rebellion & fear the people of God could not come into that
place. How the heart of God must have ached with the realisation that His fellowship with man
could not be then.

Can you not see now that the Temple of God is within. Grasp it, just don't let it be empty
words, get it deep in your spirit, this is where God will ultimately have His worship. Oh praise
His Holy Name, what a revelation to know He wants that intimacy with me. One thing I have
desired is to know His love, the deep love, the depth that the Spirit speaks, of as He waited
over the waters at creation, wanting to express the love of creator God. Hovering, ever
attentive, this is what my spirit yearns for. “I know in part” that I have this love, but oh the
glory to receive the fullness of it, as looking into a mirror but the image never fading because I
never want to stop looking into it.

I pray that this message will be sent in love, never to be in condemnation. As Jesus'
ambassador I ask that they would receive truth as the Father gave truth to Christ, so that all
men will come to the knowledge of Him. May His love & sweet spirit hover above you as the
gentleness of a dove.
