if they were educated. Another law that I made was called the Table of
Ranks. It basically was a new order of precedence that stated instead of
having land being inherited; the land would be given to people according
to their merit and or service to me. Taxes that I introduced include taxes
for beards, clothing, and a poll tax. A poll tax was a tax on land and
