BELLEAU WOOD installation FS9

This package contains 2 sets of addons for the ship.

1 A static placement near Okinawa Japan with animated
wake.. ID = RONZ1 name Belleau Wood 2
2 A static placement off Virginia Beach with AI hovercraft
and submarine action .. ID = BWFT name Belleau Wood

Fs9 only supports Static ships for deck landings but there
are animated wake simulations included in the Okinawa
ship plus plenty of animated AI.
Setupmost everything will be done by the installers BUT
(Please read Special setup notes FIRST)....all that will be
needed after install is to (add) the scenery into the FS9
scenery library. And reboot FS9
Load up Flight simulator 2004 and at the main screen select
Settings/Scenery Library/Add area/Addon scenery. .now
highlight the folder (BELLEAU WOOD OPS) and click
(OK) button. .next click the main (OK) button to exit
Re start FS9 - thats it !
(Special setup notes.)
The main installer - Belleau Wood setup.exe installs
initially to the default location C:\Program files\Microsoft
Games\Microsoft Flight simulator 2004. But If you have
Flight Simulator 2004 installed in another location or drivebe sure to browse to it during that part of the installation. If
your Flight simulator 2004 main directory folder has a
different name then type in its drive letter and name in the

installers browse window.. For instance if your Flight

Simulator 2004 main folder has been personally named
(My Fs9)and is on a separate drive such as D Then type in
D:\My Fs9 into the installers browse bar window and
backspace the title (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004) if
necessarycontinue with the installation.
The installer will give you a prompt telling you the folder
already exist, install into that folder anyway? Click Yes.
If you have problems installing or [do not understand this]
then read the full information at the bottom of this Doc to
do a (Manual) install.

None of these installers will in no way harm your PC or

Flight Simulator 2004 if they install to any wrong location.

The Saved Flights

The flights - go to (Select a Flight)

Now search for.. USS BELLEAU WOOD FLIGHTS

1 BELLEAU WOOD hovercraft training Ft Story - A flight

that includes some amphibious hovercraft action training
off of Virginia beach, Virginia.
2 BELLEAU WOOD OKINAWA USMC - Using the
default Bell helo you are in the air and on aproach to the
Carrier.. Carrier includes animated wake for movement
simulation.
3 BELLEAU WOOD Day of the waterspouts. A bad
weather flight off Okinawa.. watch out for those spouts!
They only appear in the year 1989.

Extra aircraft AI
There are some extra aircraft AI at both locations. If you
do not want them, here are the files to remove.
In the BELLEAU WOOD OPS\Scenery folder
1 AB_Belleau wood okinawa aircraft scenery.bgl
2
AB_BELLWOOD_AIRCRAFT_SCENERY_ADDON.bgl
Make sure to make a backup copy if you wish to use them
again. If you wish to use them again then just copy them
back in.
[Manual install]
It is simple. .Create a new folder on your desktop and run

the installer and browse to your Desktop\new folder and

install it there..
When finished open the New folder and in it is a folder
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 - open this folder and you
will see 4 folders
Addon Scenery
Effects
Flights
USS BELLEAU WOOD EXTRAS
Next copy all four folders and Paste them into your main
Flight simulator 2004 directory and choose (Overwrite All)
Thats it refer to above for adding the scenery into your
FS9.
Uninstall
There will be an uninstall located in your START, ALL
PROGRAMS within the title USS BELLEAU WOOD FS9.
Important.. Do not uninstall the program until you first go
Into your Flight simulator 9 main screen, settings, scenery
library and delete the area BELLEAU WOOD OPS
Located in the Addon Scenery folder.
Failure to do so will cause FS9 to give errors about missing
scenery.. To resolve this re install the product and follow
the correct procedure above.
