"Interface" doesn't apply to the physical system (two or three-phase separator) but to the computer code. The software is
looking for the separator sizing module and can't find it, so its "request" to the "interface" with the sizing module fails.
If I may give you a tip: don't use Hysys' sizing module. Use a good spreadsheet or calculation method, which you can find, for

example, on this website (cheresources.com) and forums. You will know what equations are being used, what the assumptions
are, and your results will be more reliable. While convenient, Aspentech's module is opaque and often incorrect, because

you'll forget to give it the right parameters. It is not hard to design a separator, as long as you know (or learn) what you're
doing.

There is a dll called sepsize.dll in the Aspen HYSYS installation folder which should be activated as follows:
1. From the Windows Start menu, choose Command Prompt (type 'cmd' >> press enter) to get a DOS prompt. From here one

can unregister and register the dlls. Make sure you have full administrative rights to do this.
2. At the DOS prompt, switch to the directory that contains the dll files. For example, if they are located in the same path as
the HYSYS default path for sepsize.dll file, your DOS command line will look like: C:\Program Files\AspenTech\Aspen HYSYS
2006>
(Some tips: To switch from a different drive to the C: drive, type in 'C:' at the prompt, and use the 'cd' command to get to the
desired directory. To change to the desired folder from default folder, type "cd.." and press enter)
3. Unregister the dll files, At the prompt, type regsvr32/u sepsize.dll and hit Enter. You should get a unregistration success
message. Click on OK.
4. Re- register the dlls. At the same prompt, now type in regsvr32 sepsize.dll and hit Enter. You should get a registration
success message.
5. Start Aspen HYSYS and check if the 'Quick Size' option works.
