Enter a user and user group with specific security options

A001 Security management setup
Start Administrative Tools Active Directory Users and Computers
Step 1: Open active directory users and computers

Step 2: Right click and select New User option

Step 3: Create a user by following the wizard


Note: The password follows a specific format. In this case it is Number(s) Lower case
letter(s) Higher case letter(s) Number(s)

Step 4: Create a user as shown below

Step 5: Click on User options button and make changes as shown in the below screen
shot

Administrations > Setup > User groups


Step 6: Create a user group that the user Charlie.Brown will be associated to. If the
group already exists, directly go to step number 7.

Step 7: Select Users tab and move the Charlie.Brown user from remaining users box to
selected users box

Step 8: Select Permissions button and review the domain that is associated to the
user group

Step 9: Select Permissions tab to define the permission details for this user group.
Select the module to give permissions to and select one of the Access options on the
right of the screen. If you want to apply the same access option to sub-folders of the
folder selected, click on Cascade button.

Administration > Users


Step 10: Go back to the user (Charlie.Brown) and review the company accounts and
permissions that are carried from the user group Inventory Management
