Feeling Expressions

Meeting : 1, 2, & 3 / third - fifth week
Time : 15 X 45’
Competence standard : Communicate in elementary level
Base competence : 2.5. Feeling expression
Indicator : -Using invitation expression, bargaining expression, opinion
expression, arguing, agreeing and disagreeing and compliments
expression properly
- Using some expression to state certainty

I. Lesson Purpose

After practicing this unit, students can:


1 Using invitation expression, bargaining expression, opinion expression, arguing
agreeing and disagreeing and argumentation expression properly
2 Using some expression to state certainty
3 Reading some text which can support student’s knowledge relate to the structure

II. Lesson Material

- Various expressions about giving invitation, bargaining, expressing certainty,


compliments, opinions, agreeing/disagreeing and arguing
- Read some dialogues based on given situation
- Answering question based on the text
- Writing dialogues based on given situation
- Conjunction

A. Opening section
- Teacher’s greeting and checking students’ attendance list

B. Teacher’s presentation

B.1.Listening
• Listen to Various expressions about giving invitation, bargaining, expressing
certainty, compliments, and opinions, agreeing/disagreeing and arguing
• Completing some dialogues orally

B.2. Speaking
• Students practice some dialogues using various expressions given that they
made

B.3. Reading
• Students can find information’s from reading text which can endorse students’
knowledge about various expressions given
• Reading comprehension

B.4. Writing
• Students make their own dialogues with various expressions given
• Reading complementing with suitable conjunction

C. Closing
Teacher gives homework to students as their assessment
