GUIDELINES FOR PHARMACOLOGY TERM REQUIREMENTS

MIDTERMS
1. Each group will choose one drug on an assigned drug classification
2. Make a music video presentation to be burned in CD.
3. The presentation must be about the drug including drug overview,
indications, actions, nursing responsibilities, etc. Lyrics must also be included
in the screen and group members will serve as actors/actresses in the video.
Original videos will only be accepted. No copied/downloaded videos must be
included in the presentation.
4. Members can choose any music piece for the template audio provided that
lyrics must be changed. Either one or more music piece can be used.
5. The music video must be at least 3 minutes in length. Criteria for grading is
the project includes:
a. Content 40%
b. relevance 20%
c. Creativity 30%
d. Cinematography and quality of music video 10%
6. This project must be submitted on the day of midterm examination. Late
requirements will have demerits.
FINALS
1. Each group will make a compilation of drug studies on the following
medications listed.
2. It must be handwritten following the recommended College format for drug
study excluding the patients indication and patients dose section. It must be
written in a short bond paper and compiled in a folder. The cover page must
contain the following:

3. The sources of drug information must be acknowledged and indicated at the
bottom of the sheet following the APA format.
4. Nursing responsibilities must be at least 5 for each section: before, during
and after.

5. Output must be written legibly in non-cursive handwriting. Black pens must


be used.
6. Criteria for grading includes:
a. Content 20%
b. Completeness 40%
c. Neatness and organization 20%
d. Bibliography 10%
e. Punctuality 10%
7. Submission of output will be on the day of final examination.
