Submitted ARS to BPMIGAS Jakarta asking BPMIGAS to facilitate obtaining Activity Permit from
Minister of Forestry on March 10, 2010. The letter is now waiting for General Affairs Deputy

Technical Justification from Local Forestry of Jambi and Governor of Jambi Recommendation Letter
have been obtained on March 05, 2010.

The Forestry Planning Department Staff still reviewed the principle permit application that was
submitted by BPMIGAS. The reviewing process pending due to the Minister of Forestry still revise
the implementation regulation for new loan-use permit No progress
BPMIGAS PetroChina met with the Minister of Forestryon Wed, Apr 14, 2010 requested the
Minister of Forestry assistance to approve the principle permit

2. WB-PPF (SB-PPF) Principle Permit
Status Forestry Planning Department (BAPLAN) still reviewed the application letter for Principle

1. ROW from South Betara #1, West Betara #2, #3, South Betara #2 and ROW from Ripah Facility
to Gemah Facility Preparation for Loan Use permit
Status - Prepare ARS to be submitted to BPMIGAS-Jakarta and Sent Letter to PT.WKS requested
WKS to issue an invoice for usage of area/acacia compensation
Minister of Forestry Permit No.: S.586/ Menhut-VII/ 2007, dated : Sept 7, 2007, expired on Sept 7,
2009.
The extension of principle permit is approved by Minister of Forestry on October 19, 2009 (Minister
of Forestry No.S.890/Menhut-VII/2009)
Final border stacking report is already obtained from BPKH Pangkal Pinang on March 30, 2010
The Join Team already completed the timber cruising on March 23-24, 2010, and the final survey
report has been approved by the Head of Local of Forestry Tanjung Jabung Barat on April 08, 2010
PSDH/DR already paid on April 14, 2010
Sent invoice to PT.WKS asking WKS to issue an invoice for acacia compensation

2. ROW South West Betara (SWB) to Ripah Facility Preparation for Loan Use Permit
Status Directorate General of Forestry Planning (BAPLAN) is reviewing the loan-use permit
application submitted by BPMIGAS
The principle permit No.S.4/Menhut-VII/2008 obtain on Jan 2, 2008 for +/- 39,8115 Ha Expired on
Jan 2, 2010
The process of PT. WKS invoice is pending due to the dispute of 2009 road maintenance eventhough
the TOP Managemetn of PetroChina and WKS agreed to resolve the issue.
Mr. Triyono Sub Head of Mining Forestry Planning Department still reviewed the application for
loan-use permit. The reviewing process pending due to the Minister of Forestry still revise the
implementation regulation for new loan-use permit No progress
BPMIGAS PetroChina met with the Minister of Forestryon Wed, Apr 14, 2010 requested the
Minister of Forestry assistance to approve the principle permit
Action Plan:
To follow up with Top PCJL Mgt & PT. WKS Mgt when PT. WKS will submit an invoice

3. ROW from NEB-8 to Gemah Intersection Preparation for Loan Use Permit
Status BPKH Pangkal Pinang finalized the border tacking report
Border stacking completely conducted by BPKH-Pangkal Pinang last Ap 12-13, 2010, and BPKH is
now finalized the final report for border stacking.
Timber cruising is planning will be conducted next week, and the budget for timber cruising will be
submitted this week
Principle Permit No.S.08/Menhut-VII/2010 obtained on January 5, 2010
Action Plan
Remind FAS/FM to ask Local Forestry of Tanjab to submit budget for timber cruising and request
local forestry to conduct the timber cruising next week.
Remind FAS/FM to ask BPKH Pangkal Pinang to submit the final report of border stacking
4. SBD-5 drilling (PT. WKS) Preparation for Loan-use Permit
Status BPMIGAS still reviewed the ARS since last March 24, 2010
Submitted ARS to BPMIGAS Jakarta asking BPMIGAS to facilitate obtaining the loan-use permit
from Minister of Forestry on March 24, 2010
The principle permits is approved by Minister of Forestry on Sep 8, 2009 (Minister of Forestry No.S.
702/Menhut-VII/2009)
The complete final report of border stacking from BPKH Pangkal Pinang and timber cruising from
local forestry of Tanjab is obtained on March 12, 2010

The principle permit from the Minister of Forestry is obtained on October 19, 2009 ( Minister of
Forestry No.S.891/Menhut-VII/2009)

6. WB-6, SB-3, SBD-11 Preparation for Loan Use Permits
Status Directorate General of Forestry Planning (BAPLAN) still reviewing the loan-use permit
application submitted by BPMIGAS
The Forestry Planning Staff still reviewed the application for loan use permit. We have submitted
some of lack supporting documents to Forestry Planning for final review. The reviewing process
pending due to the Minister of Forestry still revise the implementation regulation for new loan-use
permit
The process of PT. WKS invoice is pending due to the dispute of 2009 road maintenance eventhough
the TOP Managemetn of PetroChina and WKS agreed to resolve the issue.
Submitted the formal letter to Forestry Planning Department (BAPLAN) asking Forestry Planning to
split the process of WB-6 and SB-3 because all supporting documents already completed, while the
process of SB-11 is pending until the WKS invoice is received.

Minister of Forestry assistance to approve the principle permit

1. SW-Oscar 12/13/14 Principle Permit
Status Waiting on Technical Justification & Governor Recommendations Letters
Technical Justification from Local Forestry of Sorong is obtained on Oct 21, 2009
Submitted the technical justification from local forestry of Sorong to local forestry of Manokwari for
further process to obtain the Governor of Papua Barat commendation
Staff of local forestry of Manokwari completely conducted a site visit to Matoa on Jan 29, 2010.
Reminded JOBPPS Management to pay per diem allowance of staff of local forestry of Papua Barat
who was conducted the surveyon Jan 29, 2010
Met with GM JOB-PPS discussed the forestry permit issue, and asked GM assistance to pay staff of
Local Forestry of Manokwari per diem allowance who was conducted the survey
FPM Staff completed PAR document and submitted to JOB PPS on March 04, 2010. PAR should be
used as supporting document to be attached to ARS document that need to send to BPMIGAS
JAPALU.

JOB-PPS Mgt Jakarta has submitted the ARS to BPMIGAS JAPALU

BPMIGAS-JAPALU approved the ARS, and the letter for local forestry of Papua Barat will be sent
by JOBPPS
Mr. Argia from JOB-PPS Jakarta went to Manokwari and met with staff local forestry of Papua Barat
to follow up the technical justification and governor recommendation last March 31, 2010.

Action Plan:
To monitor and follow up with JOB-PPS the progress status of technical justification & governor
recommendation letter and ask JOB-PPS Mgr to pay per diem allowance of local forestry Manokwari
as soon as possible
2. Bagong-2 Principle Permit
Status Waiting on Technical Justification & Governor Recommendations Letters
Technical Justification from Local Forestry of Sorong is obtained on Oct 21, 2009
Submitted the technical justification from local forestry of Sorong to local forestry of Manokwari for
further process to obtain the Governor of Papua Barat commendation
