Anchor-1: Good Evening Ladies and Gentleman! On behalf of SJMSOM, we welcome you all
to the National Alumni Meet 2014.
By the end of the event, Were sure well make you closer to those memories you cherished for
2 years here at IIT like staying up late to submit projects, running to the classroom so that you
dont miss your class, talking nonsense with friends in the mess or night canteen & several
more.
How different could this evening be? Dear audience, you will yourself discover as the colours
unfold! We have a plethora of fun activities & performances lined up for today.

Anchor-2: We feel honored to have with us - The Honourable Chief Guest Mr. ABC. Sir you hardly
need any introduction, you have made all of us proud by your distinguished work in numerous
capacities. Guests of Honour : Mr XYZ (add lines)

Anchor-1: Now, we will have our traditional auspicious LAMP-LIGHTENING ceremony as a

tribute to Mother Saraswati, the Godess of knowledge. (Mother, we pray for your blessings with
all humility give us wisdom to make this world a better place. May all human beings live in
harmony with nature and other forms of life. May the truth prevail. May the darkness of
ignorance be swept away by the dawn of self-realization.)

LAMP-LIGHTENING/INAUGRATION

Anchor-2 : Next, I would like to call upon our respected HOD, Prof Bhargava, to kindly address
the stage & share his views with the rest of us.

FACULTY ADDRESS
Anchor-1: Thank you sir for that wonderful speech. Good teaching is as much about passion as
it is about reason. It's about caring for your craft, having a passion for it, and conveying that
passion to everyone, most importantly to your students.
Anchor -2: Next we would like to call our esteemed faculty members to come up on stage &
address the audience.

UPDATE ON COLLEGE ACTIVITIES/CULTURAL PERFORMANCE

Anchor-1: Do you feel some turbulence around here ?
Anchor-2: Yes, I do the heart beats have gone up and everyone is eager to sink into the
depth of music, song, lights and joy. Well, here you are. Today, we will have rainbow of cultural
programmes prepared under the able stewardship of our teachers.

First we have The students of SOM16 here to do a group song. Its a melodic tune which is sure
to engross its audience to the core.)

Anchor-1: That was indeed a lovely performance. How captivating ! poetry of footsteps !! A
blend of cosmic tune and divine music !.

Anchor-2: I still feel like lost in those melody dipped music notes. ( Anchor-2) Well, come back
