Particularly interested in social media and tech PR, I was drawn to Vantage Communications because it offers
candidates the opportunity to gain important skills and expertise. As a college senior, I am very interested in
gaining valuable public relations experience that will help prepare me for a career in the field after I graduate.
I feel that I have much to offer Vantage Communications because I am a highly motivated individual with an
eagerness to learn. From my past and present leadership experiences and strong academic record, I have
developed valuable skills that will help me bring something unique to Vantage Communications.

▪Diverse experiences – My professional experience has given me a strong work ethic and an ability to
work efficiently in a time sensitive environment. I have experience working closely with coworkers and
clients in my internships at Novellus Systems, Sparkart Group, and Isaac Cronin Public Relations, yet
am able to work self-sufficiently under limited direction. Furthermore, working as an Account
Executive at The Daily Californian and as a waitress has given me exceptional communication skills,
professional etiquette, and a determined insistence to follow through with tasks.

▪Flexible Versatility – In my different professional experiences, I have used a number of specialized

computer systems, programs, and services, and thus feel very comfortable in navigating and mastering
any type of new office or online technology. In my past internship at Sparkart Group, I was responsible
for updating the company blog and website. In my current internship with Isaac Cronin Public
Relations, I make daily use of social networking sites and new media to garner client coverage and even
had the opportunity to plan and execute a client’s green product launch event in August. Overall, I am
a quick and receptive learner and am confident that my professional and extracurricular experiences
have prepared me for making an immediate contribution to Vantage Communications.

▪Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills - My current experiences as an intern for the Student
Union Program, Entertainment, and Recreation Board and as the Executive Advisor for Public
Relations at Cal has equipped me with essential teamwork and leadership skills. My managerial position
at The Daily Californian has further solidified these skills and allowed me to mature into a strong leader
that thrives in a team setting. Recently, my summer internship with Isaac Cronin Public Relations was
extended into the fall semester, in which I was promoted to Public Relations and Marketing Assistant.

An internship at Vantage Communications would be a new and highly rewarding experience that would allow
me to lend my assets to the company while helping me to develop on both a professional and personal level. I
am confident that my professional and extracurricular experiences make me an outstanding candidate for the
position. In addition to the skills that I possess, I have the passion and the unrelenting spirit for achievement
