Progress Report of TUC Udaipur for 2011-2012

Extensive tours - in technical colleges of Rajasthan and highlighted the activities

of TUC Udaipur.

Awareness camps for students and faculty members were arranged in various
districts of Rajasthan. Annexure A

An agreement has been signed between Department of Science and

Technology, Rajasthan and TUC Udaipur mentioning that DST Rajasthan has to
invite TUC Udaipur for every awareness camp of DST.
A meeting with students, innovators and faculty members was arranged at
Jaipur Engineering College, Jaipur. A presentation on TePP activities was also
made for the students and faculty members of the college. Annexure A
Lectures were delivered on TePP activities in various National seminars like on
power generation from Renewable Energy Sources and Emerging trends in
Spice Processing and its Impact on Rural Economy conducted in Udaipur.
A state level press conference was arranged in Jaipur on May 13, 2011. All the
leading news papers were invited and coordinator highlighted the TePP
activities. Reporters interviewed some of the innovators and published it as a
cover story. Annexure B
A TV talk on May 13, 2011 was also broadcasted on Jaipur Doordarshan.
TUC Monitoring Committee (TMC) meeting was held on Sept. 14, 2011 and the
progress of ongoing proposals was reviewed. TMC recommended successfully
completion of four projects.
An exhibition was arranged for the faculty and college students at CTAE Udaipur
to highlight the various innovations on Sept. 20, 2011 An interaction session was
also arranged for the students with the innovators and TUC officials. Annexure

TUC Udaipur participated in seminar on Industrial Motivational Campaign held
at Udaipur Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 27, 2011 and highlighted the
funding procedure of TePP. Annexure D
TUC Udaipur participated in Science and Technology Expo-2011 during Dec 1113, 2011 in Bhopal. TUC stall was appreciated by the Honable State Minister of
MP. Innovators displayed their innovations in the Expo. Annexure E
TUC Coordinator was awarded with Scroll of Honour by The Institution of
Engineers (India), Udaiupur chapter and Out Standing Services in the University
on Republic Day, 2012 by the university. Annexure F
Pamphlets were developed for publicity campaign. Annexure G

 NRDC visited to innovators workshop for inspecting new type of cultivator at

Tonk. Annexure H
TUC Udaipur participated in the state level Krishi Vigyan Mela at Budgoan on
Jan. 31, 2012 Annexure I
Articles on TePP were published in the Agriculture Engineering Today, ISAE
Publication and Souvenir of CTAE Alumni Society. Annexure J
