44% of the respondents have chosen PK, while 'Happy New Year' is the second
best with 11% vote.

5. Best Actor: Again it is Aamir Khan for his acting in 'PK'. 49% of the respondents
have chosen Aamir Khan, while Shah Rukh Khan has come in the second position
for his 'Happy New Year' with 12% vote.
6. Femme Fatale: Priyanka Chopra won accolade from various corners for her
stunning performance in the bio-pic Mary Kom. 28% of the respondents have
chosen Priyanka as the best actress of 2014. Her closest contender is Deepika
Padukone for her acting in the movie Finding Fanny.
7. Superhit Song: 'Baby Doll' sung by Kanika Kapoor in the movie Ragini MMS 2 is
the best song of 2014, according to our users. 23% of respondents have chosen
Baby Doll, while 'Galliyan' from the movie Ek Villaine has become second as 18%

11. Biggest Achievement: India's successful mission to Mars is the uncontested
winner when it comes choosing the national achievements in 2014. 35% of the
respondents said that Mission Mars or Mangalyaan is the best achievement by India.
The joint winning of Nobel Peace Prize by Kailash Satyarthi came in the second
position as 25% of the users voted in its favour. 10% users chose the complete
eradication of polio as India's third biggest achievement.
12. Shining Sportster: 26% of the respondents have chosen the cricketer Virat Kohli
as the best sportster of the year 2014. Mary Kom, the gold medallist boxer at the Asian
Games came on the second spot as 20% respondents voted for her. Archer Deepika
Kumari and cricketer Rohit Sharma became joint third with 8% vote each.
13. Tragic Moments: The bliss and contentment of 2014 was too many; so were its
tragic moments. The gravest tragedy struck right in December when 132 school
children were killed in a heinous terrorist attack in Peshawar, Pakistan. 49% of the
respondents have chosen this incident as the most tragic event of 2014. The Ebola
outbreak and huge death toll in West Africa became the second most tragic event with
16% respondents choosing it. The mysterious disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines
flight MH370 became third with 13% vote.
