Hi! My name is Luciane (Luci) and I have been taking

pictures since college, where I graduated with a
Bachelors in Journalism and a Masters in Social Science.
In college I shot and developed my own film for the
schools newspaper. Since then my love and passion for
photography only grew.
Thats when Luphoto.com (Luciane Photography) was
born, taking modern pictures and capturing life one
picture at a time. My God given talent (and career) was
truly a blessing since it is not a job but my passion.

BARBARA & ISAAC

I recently had the privilege of photographing Barbara & Isaacs gorgeous
wedding. Because weddings are a flurry of excitement and special
moments between loved ones, family and friends, it is important to
not only capture those smiles, demure glances and beautiful flowers;
stunning photography also captures the wishes of the client.
How can you be prepared for the biggest day of your life so far?
Here, Barbara and Isaac share:
T he biggest surprise about their wedding day .
Biggest surprise was the lack of time! We had a schedule that we
followed but time still slipped away
T heir favorite photo moment .
Our favorite photo moment was Isaac holding a big turkey from his
moms farm and me holding a chicken with my white gown. It was the first
time I had ever held a chicken so I was terrified but the pictures matched
the wedding theme perfectly.
W hat they loved most about working with
L U C I A N E P H O T O G R A P H Y.
I loved how Luphoto captured our story. She didnt just show up on the
wedding day and take pictures but she met us weeks in advance to learn
about the meaning behind everything we chose. She chose to engage
in every single detail of our story, personalities, theme, location, etc and
incorportate each detail into every photo she took.
H ow to tame those wedding day nerves .
I honestly was calm during the whole day. I knew it was once in a lifetime
event and I didnt want my nerves to spoil that. What I reminded myself
was that I was marrying the one my heart chose, was surrounded by
my parents and best friends who supported us and just soaked every
moment in with a smile on my face.
W hich one moment will last for them
forever .
Barbara and Isaac say they will most remember the fun time they had
dancing. Dancing at the reception was lots of fun. Our parents, best
friends dancing with us being silly and laughing is definitely a moment we
wont forget.

air and the anticipation of a lifetime together comes
to a crescendo in the rush during the weeks leading
up to your wedding, causing you to wonder: Is an
engagement shoot necessary? After all, your wedding
pictures share the beginning of your life, right?
Shooting an engagement is important for several
reasons. First, this time allows you to get comfortable
in front of the camera with your photographer, figuring
out how you work best together before the wedding.
Next, you can showcase your personalities in a more

casual setting, while creating some fun captures for

wall portraits, your wedding sign-in book, sign-in
board and Thank You cards (shot early enough, we can
also provide the images for your Save the Date cards
and invitations). Images also add another dimension
