John Perkins (born January 28, 1945) is an American author. His best known
book is Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (2004), in which Perkins claims to
have played a role in an alleged process of economic colonization of Third
World countries on behalf of what he portrays as a cabal of corporations,
banks, and the United States government. Perkins has also written about
mystical aspects of indigenous cultures, including shamanism.

Biography
Perkins graduated from the Tilton School in 1963. He subsequently attended
Middlebury College for two years before dropping out due to lackluster grades.
He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from
Boston University in 1968. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador from
1968 to 1970. He spent the 1970s working for the Boston strategic-consulting
firm Chas. T. Main; he claims to have been screened for this job by the
National Security Agency (NSA) and subsequently hired by Einar Greve, [1] a
member of the firm (alleged by Perkins to have been acting as an NSA liaison,
a claim which Greve has denied).
Perkins's time at Chas T. Main, an engineering consultancy, provides the basis
for his subsequent published claims that, as an "economic hit man", he was
charged with inducing developing countries to borrow large amounts of
money, designated to pay for questionable infrastructure investments, but
ultimately with a view to making the debt-laden countries more dependent,
economically and politically, upon the West.
In the 1980s Perkins left Main and founded and directed an independent
energy company. In the book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, Perkins
claims that his company was successful due to 'coincidences' orchestrated by
those appreciative of his silence about the work he says he did as an
economic hit man.
Perkins's story is the main theme in part II of the movie Zeitgeist: Addendum,
released in October 2008. In that same year, he appeared in the film, The End
of Poverty?. He also appears in the films The Weight of Chains by Boris
Malagurski, released in December 2010, Let's Make Money (in German) by the
Austrian director Erwin Wagenhofer, released October 2008, and Four
Horsemen by Ross Ashcroft, released in 2012.[2]
Controversy
Sebastian Mallaby, economics columnist of the Washington Post, reacted
sharply to Perkins' book: [3] describing him as "a "conspiracy theorist, a
vainglorious peddler of nonsense, and yet his book, Confessions of an
Economic Hit Man, is a runaway bestseller." Mallaby, a member of the Council
on Foreign Relations, holds that Perkins' conception of international finance is
"largely a dream" and that his "basic contentions are flat wrong." [3] As an
example, Mallaby states that Indonesia reduced its infant mortality and
illiteracy rates by two-thirds after economists persuaded its leaders to borrow
money in 1970.[3]
Articles in the New York Times[4] and Boston magazine, as well as a press
release issued by the United States Department of State, have referred to a
lack of documentary or testimonial evidence to corroborate the claim that the
NSA was involved in his hiring by Chas T. Main.
In a 2006 rebuttal, a State Department release claims that much of the book
"appears to be a total fabrication....the National Security Agency is a
cryptological (codemaking and codebreaking) organization, not an economic
organization... Neither of [its] missions anything remotely resembling placing
economists at private companies in order to increase the debt of foreign
countries." The State Department also claims that Perkins has alleged U.S.
Government complicity in "the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy,

Senator Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., former Beatle John Lennon,
and several unnamed U.S. senators who had died in plane crashes.". [5]
Questioned in a recorded interview about the State Department claims on the
assassinations, Perkins replied, "No, I've never alleged that. I probably opened
a question as to whether it might have been that way". [6] He continued by
alleging that President Jaime Rolds Aguilera of Ecuador and Omar Torrijos of
Panama had been assassinated and the US government had been involved,
adding "I know. I was there."[6]

The transformation of John Perkins and his work at transforming the
world.
Today John travels the world and encourages business execs, students, and
everyone who comes to his talks to create a world our grandchildren will
want to inherit. For example at an Istanbul conference of 4000 leaders in the
communications field he said: Today for the first time in history everyone on
this planet has the ability to talk with everyone else. You are the leaders in the
industry that makes it possible. You have to ask yourselves: what is it you
want communicated? Do you want us to focus on the sex lives of celebrities,
the latest fashions and sports scores or do you want the discussion to
center on the ways we can work together to create a sustainable, just, and
peaceful world where all beings can thrive a world your grandchildren will
thank you for establishing?
1968-71. Peace Corps volunteer in the Amazon and Andes, he learned that
the world is as you dream it. The teachings of the head-shrinking Shuar of
the Amazon and Quechua of the Andes totally changed and saved his life.
1971-80. Became an economic hit man official title was Chief Economist at
major international consulting firm. His job was to identify countries with

resources corporations covet, like oil and arrange huge loans to those
countries that were used to hire US companies to built big infrastructure
projects that benefit a few wealthy people (as well as US companies) and
leave the rest of the people (who do not benefit) in deep debt. When the loans
defaulted he and other EHMs would go back and asset strip the country.
1980. He had an epiphany while sailing in the Virgin Island. He rowed ashore,
climbed a hill to the ruins of an old sugar plantation, sat among bougainvillea,
watching sun set over the Caribbean it was very idyllic. Suddenly he was
struck by the realization that the plantation was built on the bones of
thousands of slaves. Then it occurred to him that the entire hemisphere is built
on the bones of millions of indigenous people and slaves. Finally he had to
admit that he was the modern equivalent of a slaver, using his power with
financial institutions to exploit natural and human resources around the world.
He committed to never doing it again and instead to using his knowledge to
create a more sustainable, just, and peaceful world.
1980-90. Quit his job as Chief Economist. Founded and was president of an
alternative energy company that did ground-breaking work, built a power
plant in PA that demonstrated that coal can be burned without producing acid
rain, leading to a major change in US energy laws.
1990-2000. Sold energy company and returned to the Amazon to help the
Shuar, who had changed and saved his life, preserve their rainforests and
culture. They told him that to do so hed have to change the dream of his
people. Founded the non-profit Dream Change, wrote 5 books including The
World Is As You Dream It and Shapeshifting. Also co-founded The Pachamama
Alliance, an NGO that today has Awakening the Dreamer programs in 70
countries and has partnerships with Amazonian tribes. Began to write
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. He contacted other EHMs and jackals
(who go in when EHMs fail to corrupt government officials and either
overthrow or assassinate the leaders). He received threats on his life and his
infant daughters life. Taken out to dinner by the CEO of Stone & Webster, he
was offered a legal bribe of $500,000: they would use his resume and he
would not write the book. He agreed. Donated much of the money to writing
more books and doing and supporting non-profit work.
September 11, 2001 Now. He was in the Amazon leading a trip of people who
had come to learn from the Shuar about how to change the dream to a more
sustainable one. When he returned to the US, he went to Ground zero and had
another epiphany. The world had to know what he had done, how this global
economic system that today is failing, was created. He committed to writing
Confessions but this time in secret. Once he completed the entire manuscript
and his agent sent it to major publishers it was his best insurance policy.
Killing him would sell books and make him a martyr. The book was on the NY
Times bestseller lists for 72 weeks, is translated into more than 30 languages
with sales of over a million. Also, put him on the speaking circuit, including
Harvard, Wharton, Princeton and other universities around the world, and
many business conferences (incl a recent one in Istanbul for 4000 leaders in
the communications industry and another for CEOs and CFOs of stock
exchanges and trading companies). Also featured on ABC, NBC, CNN, NPR,
A&E, the History Channel, Time, The New York Times, The Washington Post,
Cosmopolitan, Elle, Der Spiegel, and many other publications, as well as in
numerous documentaries including The End of Poverty?, Zeitgeist Addendum,
and Apology of an Economic Hit Man.

Breaking Bad Habits: Cuba, Afghanistan, and Iran

Being in Guatemala now, a month ago in Peru, and looking at spending a good
portion of 2015 traveling again in Latin America and the Caribbean, then on
to Europe and Asia (My Schedule) and with all the recent tragedies involving
terrorists, Im focused once again on the USs role in global economics and
politics.
Ive talked often in these pages about this era of change and revolution that
weve entered. I see many examples of this, and lately one of the more
important is in the evolution of our relationships with nations that have been
our enemies or at least where we have interacted violently. Significantly,
Cuba, Afghanistan, and Iran will view us differently in the future, though in
what way depends on each step that we take now. President Obama pointed
out that to continue with a policy that hasnt worked for 50 years and expect it
to work in the future is not the path of wisdom. I agree.
Cuba
President Obama recently announced that our relationship with Cuba will
finally change after half a century; exactly what normal will look like in the
future is not yet determined, but if we want to create a peaceful, prosperous
future we need to become good neighbors instead of acting like bullies. We
need to empower other nations instead of threatening their autonomy and
hurting their economies. Cuba has long been a nation at odds with us, but by

opening our doors to its people we can help them move forward in peace. We
can create an ally instead of maintaining an enemy.
Hopefully we will carry the lessons weve learned in Cuba to the other side of
the Atlantic. Our policy in the Middle East reflects one that we tried in Vietnam
to no avail. Why do we expect it to work in one place when it didnt work in
others? Have we learned nothing from our history and past actions?
Afghanistan
Officially, the US military is preparing to withdraw from the campaign in
Afghanistan that began October, 2001. But is that what is really happening?
Questions are being raised on all sides. The thousands of US troops who are
still on the ground there are nominally serving as support for the Afghan
military as that military assumes more responsibility.
However, Washington continues to send in mercenaries known
euphemistically as private contractors. And at the same time we oppose the
UN decision to offer increasing legitimacy to Palestine. When will we learn that
violence begets violence and solutions lie in helping desperate people improve
their lives? As we wake up, we must encourage our leaders to wake up, also.
The answers we give for these questions will help guide the whole world into
the future; we must take responsibility for that.
Iran
Iran and the US have not been aligned diplomatically for three decades. In the
wake of nuclear peace talks with Iranian officials, President Obama has said
that re-opening the US embassy in Tehran is not on the agenda, but is also not
impossible in the future. The suggestion, however vague, of renewed good
relations with a nation in the Middle East is in line with the changing face of US
foreign policy that I support if it can be kept free from the corruption of the
corporatocracy.
Breaking Habits
Being the worlds police has not won the US any affection among the nations
weve invaded (protected.) The only people these foreign policies favor are
those who are already powerful: the wealthy elite of the US and other nations,
as well as giant multi-national corporations. Furthermore, it is one of the
reasons that increasing numbers of nations are turning to China for technical
and financial assistance instead of to the World Bank and its affiliates. It is
time we recognized that we need to apply democratic principles to our own
policies, rather than enforcing draconian military methods. Lets take care of
our own dysfunctions before daring to correct other nations.
Western colonialism and corporate greed over the years have contributed
heavily to the turmoil in the Middle East and elsewhere. However, instead of
acknowledging the facts, the West has a habit of using military and financial
power to get its way. It is time for the US to break these habits and to lead
other nations by example instead of by might. Through my travels around the
world, I have seen the people waking up to this realization and taking power
back into their hands, where it should have been all along.
Terrorism and violence in all forms are cancers that must be healed. It is
important to recognize that our past and recent acts of retribution and
attempted persuasion through military might have done the opposite of
healing. Although it is tempting to feel discouraged as we enter 2015, there
are many signs that We the People are determined to change. Let us focus on
reducing tensions, stopping the tendency to respond with hatred and violence,
and instead taking the positive actions of helping desperate people around
this planet live better lives.

Year in Review: Latin America in 2014
I just returned from a magical trip with a special group of people to amazing
Peru. Our group experienced sacred sites and ceremonies with the Qero and
other Quechua elders and shamans. Now I look forward to facilitating another
group as we visit the sacred sites and great Mayan teachers of Guatemala
beginning very soon, January 16 (to join visit: http://www.johnperkins.org/ajourney-to-the-lands-of-the-maya-guatemala/).
This year much of my time and energy has been spent in Latin America. I have
talked about events in various countries and ways in which people are waking
up. With the closing of the year, lets look at some of these stories and see
how they have developed.
Chevron and Big Oil
Big Oil (Chevron, Shell, BP, etc) have long been seen as an enemy of the
Amazon, as purveyors of contamination, poverty, and disease. (Blog Post: Big
Oil, Romania, and the Amazon.) Oil is a tool for bringing a country into
economic submission, as I learned during my time as Chief Economist at a
major international consulting firm (economic hit man.) Ecuador is not the
only country to have issues with Big Oil; dependence on fossil fuels has led
countries all over the world to economic disaster and civil unrest.
There has often been violence between the multinational companies and the
indigenous people who have had their lives brutally impacted by the oil
industry. Just in the last few weeks, a brave Ecuadorian Shuar leader, Jos
Isidro Tendetza Antn, was found dead, tortured, and buried in suspicious
circumstances mere days before he was scheduled to travel to Lima, Peru for
climate talks. He had been a leader in the struggle to rein in mining and oil
companies that threaten so much of his native Ecuador.
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa has sometimes been praised and
sometimes castigated for his stance on the Amazon rainforest, most recently
exploiting the natural resources of the region by signing permits for oil drilling
in one of the most bio diverse regions on the planet. On the other hand, he
has also made statements opposing Chevron in the nearly twenty year saga of
Ecuadorian villagers against the oil giant over the clean-up of contaminated
areas.

Though the Ecuadorian villagers have won against Chevron with the help of a
legal team lead by Steven Donziger and Pablo Fajardo, the Big Oil company is
refusing to keep its promise to abide by the judgment of Ecuadors courts. In
typical Corporatocracy fashion, Chevron is not under the regulation of a single
government and therefore refuses to respect any. Its executives are
threatening not only the lives of the indigenous people of the Amazon, but
people all over the world, from Canada to Romania to Myanmar to India. Other
governments in those regions continue to do business with Chevron, despite
clear evidence that the environment and the people suffer greatly.
Monsanto and Free-Trade
Another multinational corporation that is threatening the health of the land
and the people of Latin America and most of the rest of the world is Monsanto.

countries, free-trade agreements have paved the way for the Corporatocracy
to gain control and have sent thousands of children across the border into the
US in desperation.
Throughout history since the Industrial Revolution, the move to take
agriculture away from small farmers and give the power and profits to big
companies has resulted in poverty and destruction. Not only do these
agreements render it impossible for small farmers to make a living from their
seeds and produce, but they have also introduced incredibly dangerous
chemicals and pesticides into once-pristine environments.
Earlier this year we saw some Latin American governments seek to stand firm
for the interests of their people against major privatization of agriculture. The
fight is far from over. Groups of citizens have organized to demand that their
rights, interests, and cultural values be protected by their leaders and that the
corporations abide by new standards and laws.
Awakening
However, as powerful as these big corporations are, the people who are
waking up are more powerful. There is much that we can learn from our
southern neighbors in how to harness our power to make our leaders work for

One striking example of leaders listening to their people is the 20 x 20
Initiative: 8 Latin American nations joining forces to fight global warming.
Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru
are coming together for this agreement to protect forests and fertile land.
We can do our part to help and support this awakening by calling and emailing
our leaders and elected officials and demanding that they work against freetrade agreements such as CAFTA-DR and the proposed TPP. We can vote with
our dollars by buying local and small-farm-grown produce and products
instead of shopping at big box stores and retailers. Our market power can be
made even stronger by sending emails to the Big Business executives telling
them we will boycott their companies until they too support local businesses
and farmers and provide their employees with higher wages, health care, and
retirement pensions. We can join or organize consumer movements to
strengthen our messages.
Lets make 2015 the year we focus our intentions and our dreams on changing
the world for a better future through taking positive actions and by educating
those around us.

Now that the elections are over, its time to think about how we as individuals,
and as a nation, respond to a world that is threatened by climate change,
dysfunctional economies, terrorism and other crises around our planet.
Democrats and Republicans alike must look to the critical issue of how we
move into the future. In dealing with other countries, there are three main
choices: we can turn away from disasters that occur there, we can take
advantage of other peoples problems, or we can reach out with help that is
unencumbered by political motives.
Every day the news is full of reports that demonstrate the great malaise that is
facing the world. We hear about random shootings in schools, attacks by ISIS,
upheaval in the Middle East, and aggressive diseases. With the fear of Ebola
turning people and nations against each other, rumors of Russian tanks in
Ukraine, and the richest 85 people in the world having as much money as the
poorest 3.5 billion people, we can see vividly how much the world needs to
change.
Death Economy
Much of this turmoil is caused by the Death Economy; people are sometimes
driven to violence by insanity or greed, but more often by external pressures.

Desperate people have seen their lands ravaged by oil drilling, their farms
flooded by dams, and their fishing waters destroyed by commercial fish
factories and pollution. Their families are going hungry due to free trade
agreements that favor Big Agriculture and Big Business, and they are
homeless because of urbanization or government policies that discriminate
against them. In the long-term the only way to end acts of terror that result
from such desperation is to do away with the causes.
In areas around the world that are torn apart by violence and hate, the impact
goes deeper than food and shelter. Economic and political stability have been
threatened, and future generations of leaders are in jeopardy. The hope and
independence of entire communities has been endangered, often by policies
and actions intended to help corporate bottom lines, not human beings and
the world in general.
By creating a Life Economy one that cleans up pollution, offers ways for
hungry people to feed themselves, and invests in new energy, transportation,
recycling, banking and marketing systems and results in a world that is
peaceful, just, and spiritually fulfilling for all we can end the underlying
causes of collective violence. We can help fellow human beings escape
desperation and the perceived need to attack others by providing for basic
human needs such as health care, shelter, and access to education. In the
process, a new type of economy will evolve, one that has the potential for full
employment globally.
Response as a Nation
Current crisis situations and the people who have to endure them refugees
of ISIS, victims of civil war, those at risk of Ebola, etc are in need of basic
humanitarian assistance that the US is fully capable of providing. But will this
government repeat old mistakes of bullying, exploiting, and fear-mongering?
Or will it chose a different path and lead by example?
The US as a superpower justifies the use of military might to wipe out what it
determines as the enemy, and on the other hand proclaims its responsibility
to respect the sovereignty of other nations and the lives of the innocent in the
region. It must respond in a way that empowers communities and individuals
to regain their dignity and independence and hope. Only by achieving this can
we as a nation and a planet move into a future our children deserve.
Response as Individuals
Each of us can choose to help. Traveling to the affected areas may be one
option, but there are ways to help from home, too. We can donate money and
time to organizations that are on the ground helping those affected by
violence and war. And we can each take a stand by telling our government
how to respond. Writing letters and emails to our representatives and calling
our leaders about providing aid without strings attached will send the
message that we wont stand for bullying in the name of humanitarianism.
Above all, lets not forget the power of the purse. Purchasing goods and
services from corporations and stores dedicated to a sustainable environment
and social and economic justice for their workers and those of their suppliers
is practicing a potent form of marketplace democracy. We can make our
spending even more powerful by sending emails to those companies and
stores praising them for their policies and sending emails to the companies
that we do not support urging them to change their ways. This is an essential
element to the Life Economy. It also establishes us in the role of teachers to
the rest of the world.
We are all teachers when we follow our hearts and passions; we can educate
ourselves and our friends and family about these issues instead of reacting
out of fear and ignorance. When I am asked what we can do to help make the

world a better place for all of us, I respond that when people follow their
passions and concentrate their energies magic happens. As teachers and
leaders, each of us has a powerful role to play on this tiny space ship.
Life Economy
Our response is bigger than political affiliations and geographical boundaries;
it is imperative that we see the Death Economy as an evil that must end.
Our choices as individuals impact our actions as a nation. As we learn to see
that both those driven to acts of terror and those devastated by violence are
desperate people who need our help, we are motivated to accept a more
active part in stopping the mayhem. Desperate people need a Life Economy
that provides for essential human needs of each man, woman, and child who
shares this planet. We all need a Life Economy. It is in our power to help. It is
our time to respond, to wake up and reach out.

Shapeshifting into 2015

Please join me in January on our next Journey to the Land of the Maya in
Guatemala!
As the end of 2014 approaches, it is an ideal time to think about the future.
Not only the immediate future of 2015, but the future that our grandchildren
and great grandchildren will inherit from the actions we take today.
Ive traveled to many parts of the world during the past 12 months giving talks
and workshops on economics, shapeshifting, the environment, and the
changing geo-political landscape. Ive spoken to and met with a wide
assortment of people, ranging from high school and college students to
corporate executives. Weve discussed the mistakes of the past and ways we
can work together to fix them now and in the future. The responsibility for
doing this rests on each of us, as well as on our leaders and elected officials.
Indigenous peoples around the world tell us that this is a special time in the
course of history; it has been foretold in the prophecies as an era of a global
consciousness revolution. People are rising up in Romania, Thailand, Palestine,
Crimea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan; Latin Americans are defying Big Oil, mining,
and the corporatocracy; many nations are coming together with financial
solutions for their people as seen in BRICS, and other development banks that
compete with the World Bank and IMF.
The impact that we make in the world starts in our homes and neighborhoods,
and extends to our state, country, continent the entire planet. We are all
connected to each other and to the earth and universe we all live on a tiny
space station that has no escape shuttles. By gaining an international
perspective instead of a viewpoint limited by geographic or ethnic boundaries,
we can enter the next year with transformative intentions.
Lets look past our own backyards and see that we all inhabit this fragile,
beautiful planet together. Its the only home we have. Lets make a resolution
to designate 2015 as the Year of the Consciousness Revolution. Lets combine
our resources, passions, and powers to create a just, peaceful, and prosperous
future.

Year in Review: Latin America in 2014

I just returned from a magical trip with a special group of people to amazing
Peru. Our group experienced sacred sites and ceremonies with the Qero and
other Quechua elders and shamans. Now I look forward to facilitating another
group as we visit the sacred sites and great Mayan teachers of Guatemala
beginning very soon, January 16 (to join visit: http://www.johnperkins.org/ajourney-to-the-lands-of-the-maya-guatemala/).
This year much of my time and energy has been spent in Latin America. I have
talked about events in various countries and ways in which people are waking
up. With the closing of the year, lets look at some of these stories and see
how they have developed.
Chevron and Big Oil
Big Oil (Chevron, Shell, BP, etc) have long been seen as an enemy of the
Amazon, as purveyors of contamination, poverty, and disease. (Blog Post: Big
Oil, Romania, and the Amazon.) Oil is a tool for bringing a country into
economic submission, as I learned during my time as Chief Economist at a
major international consulting firm (economic hit man.) Ecuador is not the
only country to have issues with Big Oil; dependence on fossil fuels has led
countries all over the world to economic disaster and civil unrest.
There has often been violence between the multinational companies and the
indigenous people who have had their lives brutally impacted by the oil
industry. Just in the last few weeks, a brave Ecuadorian Shuar leader, Jos
Isidro Tendetza Antn, was found dead, tortured, and buried in suspicious
circumstances mere days before he was scheduled to travel to Lima, Peru for
climate talks. He had been a leader in the struggle to rein in mining and oil
companies that threaten so much of his native Ecuador.
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa has sometimes been praised and
sometimes castigated for his stance on the Amazon rainforest, most recently
exploiting the natural resources of the region by signing permits for oil drilling
in one of the most bio diverse regions on the planet. On the other hand, he
has also made statements opposing Chevron in the nearly twenty year saga of
Ecuadorian villagers against the oil giant over the clean-up of contaminated
areas.
Though the Ecuadorian villagers have won against Chevron with the help of a
legal team lead by Steven Donziger and Pablo Fajardo, the Big Oil company is
refusing to keep its promise to abide by the judgment of Ecuadors courts. In
typical Corporatocracy fashion, Chevron is not under the regulation of a single
government and therefore refuses to respect any. Its executives are
threatening not only the lives of the indigenous people of the Amazon, but
people all over the world, from Canada to Romania to Myanmar to India. Other
governments in those regions continue to do business with Chevron, despite
clear evidence that the environment and the people suffer greatly.
Monsanto and Free-Trade
Another multinational corporation that is threatening the health of the land
and the people of Latin America and most of the rest of the world is Monsanto.
(Blog Post: A Latin American Awakening and Monsanto.) In Latin American
countries, free-trade agreements have paved the way for the Corporatocracy
to gain control and have sent thousands of children across the border into the
US in desperation.
Throughout history since the Industrial Revolution, the move to take
agriculture away from small farmers and give the power and profits to big
companies has resulted in poverty and destruction. Not only do these
agreements render it impossible for small farmers to make a living from their

seeds and produce, but they have also introduced incredibly dangerous
chemicals and pesticides into once-pristine environments.
Earlier this year we saw some Latin American governments seek to stand firm
for the interests of their people against major privatization of agriculture. The
fight is far from over. Groups of citizens have organized to demand that their
rights, interests, and cultural values be protected by their leaders and that the
corporations abide by new standards and laws.
Awakening
However, as powerful as these big corporations are, the people who are
waking up are more powerful. There is much that we can learn from our
southern neighbors in how to harness our power to make our leaders work for

One striking example of leaders listening to their people is the 20 x 20
Initiative: 8 Latin American nations joining forces to fight global warming.
Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru
are coming together for this agreement to protect forests and fertile land.
We can do our part to help and support this awakening by calling and emailing
our leaders and elected officials and demanding that they work against freetrade agreements such as CAFTA-DR and the proposed TPP. We can vote with
our dollars by buying local and small-farm-grown produce and products
instead of shopping at big box stores and retailers. Our market power can be
made even stronger by sending emails to the Big Business executives telling
them we will boycott their companies until they too support local businesses
and farmers and provide their employees with higher wages, health care, and
retirement pensions. We can join or organize consumer movements to
strengthen our messages.
Lets make 2015 the year we focus our intentions and our dreams on changing
the world for a better future through taking positive actions and by educating
those around us.

TPP: Partnership for Good or Evil?

An invitation: Still a few spots to join me in January in Guatemala!

The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, seems to be nearing completion as
leaders from the US and 11 other Asia-Pacific countries work to finalize details
of the free-trade agreement. Supposedly designed to create a thriving
market for American-made products, it is completely skewed to the
corporatocracy and Big Business. The small businesses, farmers, peasants,
and regular workers in these countries will once again be exploited and
potentially destroyed.
The countries involved in this partnership are: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chili,
Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam, as well
as the US. It is interesting that China and South Korea are not listed among
these nations. They are working to form their own trade deal, similar to the
BRICS development bank, cutting the US out.
The TPP claims to be a transparent, environmentally responsible partnership.
But my experience as Chief Economist at a major international consulting firm
(economic hit man) makes me leery of such high-sounding claims. The farreaching and ambitious nature of this agreement, which covers everything
from agriculture to intellectual property rights, instead promises to curtail
individual freedoms and exploit those who are already disadvantaged.
Weve seen that these kinds of agreements have caused untold damage in the
past (Free Trade: A Death Economy Next Door.) With that knowledge, you
and I can stand against TPP with our votes and our calls and emails to our
government and business leaders. Sadly, the fact that the US is working to
make this agreement a reality in 2015 is a clear indication that our
government is: 1. not protecting the interests of We the People, 2. not trying
to narrow the gap between rich and poor and 3. not promoting democracy.
Rather, it is still allowing multinational corporations, the corporatocracy, to call
the shots for economic and foreign policy.

I remember John Perkins. He was a real jerk. A gold-plated, super-slick lying
little butthole shill for corporate gangsters; a snake-oil salesman with a moviestar grin, shiny loafers, a crooked calculator and a tooled leather briefcase full
of
highblown
bullshit.
This was
two
decades
ago. The
early
1980s.
I
wore
sandals,
uncombed
hair down
to
my
cheap
collar and
carried a
busted
ringbinder
filled with honest calculations and sincere analysis. It was Economic Hit Man
Perkins vs. Economic Long-Hair Palast. I didn't stand a chance. The EHM was
about to put a political bullet hole through me wider than a silver dollar.
Hit Men have "clients." Perkins' was a giant power company, Public Service of
New Hampshire. PSNH was trying to sell New England lobstermen and potato
farmers on the idea that they desperately needed a multi-billion dollar nuclear
plant. The fact that this bloated atomic water kettle, called "Seabrook," would
produce enough electricity for everyone in the Granite State to smelt iron
didn't matter. That the beast could add a surcharge to electric bills equal to
home mortgages was simply smiled over by Perkins and his team of economic
con artists.
To steal millions, you need a top team of armed robbers. But to steal billions,
you need PhD's with color charts and economic projections made of fairy dust
and eye of newt. Perkins had it all - including a magical thing called a
computer-generated spreadsheet (this was well before Excel).
I was an expert witness for some consumer groups, trying to explain to state
officials that Perkins' numbers were bogus as a bubble-gum bagel and his
financial projections were from some New Hampshire on another planet.
But this was the key point: Perkins slept in a suite at the Omni. I had truckrumble insomnia at the motel off exit 68. He glared and grinned and gladhanded. I tried to keep my eyes open.
Here's how it ended. The local Joe's jumped head-first into the Perkins fantasy
and bought his client's power plant boondoggle. Within a couple years, the
local electric companies had all gone bankrupt, the state treasury was

drained, electric bills went from lowest to highest in the nation causing
factories to close and dump, I figure, about 11,000 jobs.
Perkins' clients walked away with barrelfuls of billions.
And Dr. Perkins pocketed plenty for his mortal soul.
But, as in every moral tale, Perkins, the modern Dr. Faust, found redemption in
confession.
And we're lucky he did. Because, in Perkins' confessionals, "Confessions of
an Economic Hit Man," and his latest, the just-released "Secret History of
the American Empire," we find out what makes these guys tick. By "these
guys" I mean the vultures who suck up development aide, the sharks who use
the World Bank as their enforcers, the corporate marauders, power pirates and
hedge fund hogs with their snouts in the economic trough.
In "Secret History," Perkins, from the inside, gives the details of the weird
moral emptiness and pitilessness of men who waylay the riches of the planet
from the people to whom it rightly belongs.
In New England, the pain imposed by the clients of the economic hit men were
financial; but, as Perkins wants us never to forget, in much of the planet, the
slick sales pitch of the economic hit man is enforced by squads of hit men with
less subtle weaponry. Perkins writes:
"Three men toting AK-47s stood at attention outside. They saluted as we
drove past. One of the three opened the front door opposite the driver.
Leather Jacket and I climbed in. He spoke into a walkie talkie. Tinted windows
made it impossible to see inside."
In lines heavy with Hemingway, Perkins takes us to Indonesia, Bolivia, even
tiny Diego Garcia and other victim-states where doctorate-armed
"consultants" put an academic gloss on militarized plunder.
In the story of the guys with the AKs, Perkins is on assignment in Guatemala
for an outfit called SWEC, a Bechtel twin trying to foist another mad power
plant horror show on the natives of Guatemala. (About the same time, I
convinced the state of New York to bring racketeering charges against SWEC
and its partners in a massive power plant building fraud. SWEC and codefendants settled the civil charges for a payment of nearly half a billion
dollars.)
Unlike the yokels of New Hampshire who fell for the smooth Perkins line, the
Guatemalans were no pushovers. Skeptical locals, suspicious indigenous
shamans and a couple of improbably courageous politicians simply wouldn't
roll over to the corporate conquistadores.
The resisters, we are led to presume, will be dealt with accordingly. As Perkins
explains it, if his pie-charts don't make the sale, the little men in his darkened
car know a little explosive wired to an ignition could be persuasive.
However, by time he got to Central America on the corporate assignment,
Perkins was already ill at heart with the SWECs of this world. Ultimately, he
refused to back their destructive scheme.
Perkins had switched sides - and, in "Confessions of an Economic Hit
Man" gets his soul back from Satan only a little soiled. In Secret History, the
personal confession turns into an illuminating, world-spanning jeremiad. From
Latin America to Africa to the Middle East, Perkins leaps from his own story to
the widespread misery caused by the greed armies sent marching from the
boardrooms of New York and London.
Today, Perkins is my confrere and colleague. He wears his hair longish and I
wear mine . . . well, I've stopped wearing hair altogether.
And in his writings today, Perkins heart goes out to the Third World targets of
this new empire ruled by shock troops and spread sheets. His empathy
extends to those in the occupied territory known as the USA. Because, says

Perkins, when the wretchedly ripped-off of the Earth rise in rebellion, the lash
of the backlash is felt by the children of the lobstermen of New Hampshire,
shivering under Humvees in Falluja, and never the EHM's clients' fortunate
sons, frolicking in their Ferraris.

slecht. Hij geeft in dit boek een James Bond-achtig relaas van dit werk (reality
soap?) plus een zwaar moralistische aanklacht/complottheorie over de
Verenigde Staten, die een wereldrijk willen vestigen en de mensheid en het
milieu vernietigen. Zijn relaas bevat veel oncontroleerbare verhalen en
beschuldigingen. Kortom: een bekeerde boef schrijft een bekentenissenboek.
Weinig geloofwaardig. De auteur laat zich kennen als anti-globaliseringsaanhanger. Het boek dat zich laat lezen als een roman (met veel dialogen) is
geschikt voor een breed publiek.

Absolute aanrader! Dit boek leest als een spannende thriller. Je leert de echte
wereld kennen over hoe ver de Amerikaanse overheersing gaat. Geen fijne
conclusie, maar wel de realiteit!

Dit boek is een regelrechte eye-opener. Als er al een vermoeden was, dan
wordt het bij deze bevestigd. Wees je bewust van je eigen invloed lijkt de
onderliggende toon van dit boek. En dat geplaatst in het breedste perspectief
denkbaar. Dit boek sluit naadloos aan op: 'De Shockdoctrine' van Naomi Klein
Aanrader!!!

Dit is geen samenzweringstheorie maar een getuigenverslag van iemand die
zelf 40 jaar of wat een boef was maar spijt kreeg toen hij zag dat hij de wereld
waarin zijn dochter moet leven naar de klote aan het helpen was. Dat zoiets
gewoon te koop is is fantastisch. In de opvolger van dit boek "The Secret
History of the American Empire" beschrijft hij dat dit boek (Bekentenissen) in
sommige latijns amerikaans landen (Equador e.a.) door vage lieden meteen
opgekocht wordt om te voorkomen dat de mensen het kunnen lezen. Mijn
advies: als je 2 boeken wilt lezen over de gang van zaken in de huidige wereld
lees dan deze en "The Secret History of the American Empire". Niet geschikt
voor mensen die hun illusies koesteren en willen blijven geloven in officiele
regeringsstandpunten.

Samen staan we sterk het is nu of nooit: deel dit bericht!
Wij, de economische hitmen of economische mollen, zijn de enige
verantwoordelijk voor het ontstaan van het eerste globale rijk en we
werken op vele verschillende manieren. De algemene manier van
werken is gemakkelijk uit te leggen. We identificeren een land dat
belangrijke delfstoffen heeft of energiebronnen waar Amerika om zit
te springen. Ik noem als voorbeelden olie, uranium, gas en
dergelijke.
Om een dergelijk land in onze macht te krijgen arrangeren we een gigantische
lening voor de bepaalde staat via de Wereldbank of een van de
zusterorganisaties. Echter, dat geld gaat nooit naar het land zelf maar naar
een Amerikaans bedrijf om daar een bepaald infrastructuur project op poten te
zetten. Zoals: industrile energie maatschappijen maar daar hebben in de
meeste landen die rijk zijn aan grondstoffen alleen rijken iets aan zodat deze
dan weer voor de karretjes van de banken worden gespannen. Meestal hebben
normale mensen in deze landen niets aan de grote projecten die doorgaan
maar mogen er wel aan meebetalen omdat alles wordt teruggevorderd via
belastingen of belastingverhogingen. Punt is dat het land zoiets niet kan
terugbetalen.
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (ISBN 0452287081) is een
autobiografisch boek geschreven door John Perkins, verschenen in
2004. De Nederlandse vertaling is verschenen in 2006, onder de titel:

Daarna kunnen we dan weer naar hen toegaan en zeggen:
Luister, je bent ons een grote hoeveelheid geld schuldig, je kunt dat
terugbetalen door jullie olie op een goedkope manier te verkopen aan onze
oliemaatschappijen. Of, laat ons een militaire basis in je land bouwen, en soms
vragen we zelfs hun troepen mee te laten vechten met onze legers daar waar
hun ondersteuning nodig is op de wereld zoals bijvoorbeeld noodzakelijk was

in Irak. Van minder economisch draagkrachtige landen verlangen we dat ze

hetzelfde stemmen als wij in de VN zodat bijvoorbeeld hun energiebedrijven
worden geprivatiseerd en doorverkocht aan Amerikaanse bedrijven of andere
multinationals. Zo worden deze landen volledig afgeroomd en uitgemolken.
Deze werkwijze wordt eveneens gehanteerd door IMF en Wereldbank, ze
opereren op deze manier om een land met zon hoge schulden op te zadelen
waarbij ze deze nooit meer kunnen betalen zodat ze zich alle
staatseigendommen kunnen toe-eigenen en deze doorverkopen aan de
hoogste bieder zodat het land wordt ingenomen door vele multinationals die
de bevolking dan beginnen uit te zuigen. Sommige landen hebben zelfs alle
sociale pakketten uitbesteed aan bedrijven. We zien dit ook hand over hand
gebeuren in Europa. Ook hier spelen IMF, Wereldbank en BIS de baas. En die
spelletjes worden gespeeld via de zogenaamde Nationale bank. U mag niet
vergeten: schulden bestaan niet omdat schulden uit krediet bestaan en
krediet is GEEN geld! Dat geldt ook voor een lening of hypotheek. Alle geld dat
u terugbetaalt, is geld dat: 1) de bank niet heeft en nooit heeft gehad. 2) de
bank krijgt krediet door uw aanvraag voor een hypotheek of lening, van de
Nationale bank via een applicatieformulier dat door de bank naar de Nationale
bank is gestuurd. 3) Op het moment dat uw huis nog niet eens op uw naam
staat is de bank al volledig betaald door de Nationale bank, inclusief alle
intrest voor de ganse looptijd. Over fraude en diefstal gesproken. Elk contract
dat met bedrog en fraude tot stand komt kan altijd worden stopgezet, daar is
zelfs geen tussenkomst van een rechtbank voor noodzakelijk! Enfin, voor
landen komt het erop neer dat de schulden niet langer zijn terug te betalen en
dan gaan we onderhandelen om andere waar ipv geld terug te krijgen.
Normaal bestaat het uit de verkoop van hun grondstoffen, soms moeten ze
hun sociale voorzieningen liberaliseren en ook zijn we gek op energiebedrijven
om die te laten liberaliseren. Eigenlijk krijgen we op deze manier tot 4 maal
alles terug.
Voorbeelden:
Iran 1953: het precedent om een economische hitman in te schakelen wordt
voor in de jaren 1950 geschapen toen de republiek hun democratische
verkozen president Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh een grote hoop voor
democratie werd genoemd. Voor Time Magazine was hij DE MAN VAN HET
JAAR. Een van de ideen die hij nastreefde was om oliemaatschappijen heel
wat meer geld aan Iran te betalen voor de olie die ze jaarlijks buiten sleepten.
Amerika hield daar niet van, maar tegelijkertijd waren ze bang om te doen wat
ze altijd doen, het leger sturen. In plaats daarvan stuurden we een CIA agent
naar Iran toe, een familielid van president Roosevelt, samen met een paar
miljoen dollar. Hij werkte heel erg efficint en een korte tijd later werd
Ossadegh aan de kant geschoven en kon de Sjah hem vervangen. De manier
waarop was ontzettend effectief. Zodoende werd er in Washington
rondgekeken omdat de gebruikte methode niet alleen gemakkelijk was, het
was eveneens relatief goedkoop. Tja, niet verwonderlijk, een leger vervangen
voor n man! Zodoende was er ineens een heel andere manier ontstaan voor
het manipuleren van landen om naar hun pijpende naties te krijgen.
Er was maar n probleem met die Roosevelt en dat was dat hij een CIA agent
was met een CIA van identiteitsbewijs. Indien hij was gesnapt waren de
gevolgen voor Amerika rampzalig geweest! Zo werd er heel snel een besluit
genomen om in de toekomst alleen nog gebruik te maken van private
consultants om het geld via IMF, Wereldbank of een van hun agentschappen.
Als het werk werd gedaan door priv ondernemingen en een consultant zou
worden gearresteerd zou het geen enkel invloed hebben op de Amerikaanse
regering.

Guatemala 1954: Toen Arbenz (Jacobo Arbentz Guzman) president van

Guatemala werd, speelde de Amerikaanse United Fruit Compagny er de baas.
Het bedrijf had samen met Guzman een strategie ontwikkeld om de
verkiezingen te winnen die bestond uit het teruggeven van land aan de
bevolking. Waar United Fruit echter niet op had gerekend was, Guzman begon,
na te zijn verkozen, WERKELIJK met het teruggeven van land aan de
bevolking. Zodoende nam United Fruit een Amerikaans pr bedrijf in de hand en
liet hen een immense anti-Guzman campagne op touw zetten om de president
in diskrediet te brengen. Door deze campagne werden de Amerikaanse pers,
het volk en de senaat ervan overtuigd dat Guzman een communist was,
hetgeen toentertijd even erg was als nu een extreem islamiet te zijn. Elk
tijdperk heeft zijn angst waarop kan worden ingespeeld om bevolkingen over
de meet te trekken en een akkoord van het volk te krijgen, indien nodig.
Zo, dus om een lang verhaal kort te maken, door deze pr campagne kwam er
een akkoord met de CIA en het leger om de op democratische wijze verkozen
president af te zetten. Zodoende stuurden we vliegtuigen, soldaten en zelfs
jackhals (is een team huurmoordenaars) van de CIA. We gebruikten alles om
hem afgezet te krijgen en het lukte ons. En, toen hij van het toneel was
verdwenen kwam zijn opvolger, Carlos de Leon, op de proppen die later op
eenzelfde manier het veld zou moeten ruimen omdat hij zijn rol had vervuld.
Er was wel een kleine nuance. De eerste verliet het toneel zonder en de
tweede MET zijn zakken gevuld met geld!
Ecuador 1981: Ecuador werd al jarenlang geregeerd door allerlei
verschillende dictators, dansend naar de pijpen van de VS. Sommigen van hen
waren zeer brutaal voor het volk. Dan werd er ineens beslist om een
democratische verkiezing te houden. Het volk kiest eenstemmig voor Jaime
Roldos Aguillera met meer dan 1 miljoen voorkeurstemmen. Ook hij wilde
ervoor zorgen dat alles in Ecuador aan het volk toekomt. Na zijn verkiezing
begon hij te werken om al zijn beloften na te komen om de opbrengsten van
de olie aan het volk zoude worden gespendeerd. Ook hij was niet per direct
een favoriet voor Amerika. Ik werd er naar toe gestuurd om de president om
proberen te kopen en allerlei beloften te maken zoals: weet u, u en uw familie
kunnen heel rijk worden als maar als u uw beloften aan het volk behoudt,
zult u het toneel moeten verlaten. Hij wilde niet luisteren Aguillera kwam om
bij een vliegtuigongeval, hij werd door ons vermoord. Direct toen het vliegtuig
was verongelukt werd het terrein volledig afgebakend door Amerikaanse
militairen, leden van de luchtmacht uit Ecuador, mensen van het Junta
Investigadora de Accidentes (JIA) die het ongeluk toeschreven aan een
menselijke fout van de piloot omdat het vliegtuig overladen was. Het
onderzoek werd ernstig bemoeilijkt door het ontbreken van een
vluchtrecorder, de zogenaamde Black Box. Getuigen van het ongeluk met het
presidentile vliegtuig werden n voor n vermoord zodat ze de
bomexplosie in het vliegtuig niet zouden kunnen vernoemen tijdens de
rechtszaak. Jaime moest verdwijnen omdat hij zich niet liet omkopen door de
Amerikaanse regering.
Panama 1981: Omar Tarrijas was werkelijk n van mijn favorieten. Ik hield
werkelijk van hem. Hij had een geweldig charisma en hij wilde zijn land
werkelijk helpen. Toen ik hem trachtte om te kopen zei hij me het volgende:
Kijk John, eigenlijk noemde hij me Juanita, kijk Juanita, weet u, I heb geen geld
nodig, wat ik wil is dat mijn land op een faire manier wordt behandeld. Ik wil
dat Amerika zijn schulden aan ons terugbetaald voor alle chaos die jullie ons
hebben toegebracht. Ik wil in een positie worden bevrijd van om andere Latijns
Amerikaanse landen te helpen om zelfstandig te worden en te worden bevrijd
van alle Amerikaanse terreur. Jullie buiten ons uit. Ik wil het Panamakanaal

terug. Dat is het enige wat ik werkelijk wil. Zo laat me met rust en probeer me
niet om te kopen.
Dit was in 1981 en in mei van dat jaar werd de toenmalige president van
Ecuador, Jaime Roldos, vermoord door Amerika. Omar beseft per direct wat er
was gebeurd. Per direct riep hij zijn familie bij elkaar en sprak hen toe. Ik zal
waarschijnlijk de volgende zijn maar ik voel me goed. Ik heb gedaan wat ik
moest doen. Ik heb de gesprekken over het kanaal weer geopend, het kanaal
zal weer in onze handen komen. Hij had dit werkelijk besproken met Jimmy
Carter.
Een paar maanden later, in juni van 1981, kwam ook hij om in een
vliegtuigongeluk. Er behoeft niets te worden bewezen. Ook hij werd vermoord
door huurmoordenaars van de CIA. Daar is genoeg bewijs voor. Een van zijn
lijfwachten overhandigde op het laatste moment een koffer waar een bom in
zat.
Venezuela 2002: Jaar na jaar werd er dezelfde manier van werken gebruikt.
We werden beter en beter in alles wat van ons werd verwacht. Nu komen we
in ander vaarwater. We schrijven 1998, het jaar waarin Chavez door de
bevolking van Venezuela op democratische manier wordt verkozen tot
president. Hij is de opvolger van een lage reeks corrupte presidenten,
verantwoordelijk voor het vernietigen van de economie van Venezuela.
Chavez stond op tegen de Amerikanen en vervolgens wilde hij de olie
gebruiken om de economie weer nieuws leven in te blazen. Ook hier liep het
enthousiasme van Amerika niet voor over. Zodoende werd er een coup
gelanceerd n 2002 en niemand weet beter dan ik dat ook deze coup werd
gefabriceerd door de CIA. De manier leek als twee druppels water op de coup
in Iran, uitgedacht door kolonel Roosevelt. De CIA betaalde mensen om

relletjes te beginnen. En de pers bracht alleen de relletjes in beeld zodat het

leek alsof Chavez helemaal niet populair was. Weet je, als men 1000
protesterende en rel trappende mensen op televisie kan vertonen is het alsof
het hele land in opstand is. Natuurlijk was dat en leugen, Chavez en zijn land
begrepen maar al te goed wat er aan de hand was en alles waaide over. Het
was een heel speciaal moment in het leven van Latijns Amerika.
Irak 2003: Irak was het perfecte voorbeeld over het feit hoe het huidige
systeem werkt. Wij economische hitmen zijn de eerste linie van verdediging.
We gaan er heen en proberen regeringen om te kopen en tegelijkertijd
proberen we ze de hoge leningen te accepteren die dan worden gebruikt als
springplank om het land economisch over te nemen. Zoals ik faalde in Panama
met Omar Tarrijas in Ecuador met Jaime Roldos die zich ook niet liet omkopen
kon er met deze mensen op n manier worden afgerekend en dat is, door de
tweede verdedigingslinie op te roepen. De huurmoordenaars zijn goed
getraind en doen hun werk zonder dat er maar n spoor naar Amerika loopt.
Als dan na de moord een nieuwe regering wordt samengesteld dan weet de
nieuwe president precies wat er met hem zal gebeuren indien hij niet naar
onze pijpen danst.
Maar in Irak ging alles mis. Saddam liet zich niet omkopen en de
huurmoordenaars kregen hem niet vermoord. Saddam had ooit voor de CIA
gewerkt en was opgeleid als huurmoordenaar om de vorige president om te
leggen. Ondanks dat hij faalde wist hij exact hoe het systeem werkte. Dus, in
de jaren negentig zenden we troepen naar Irak om daar Saddam zijn leger uit
te schakelen om hem zodoende aan onze kant te krijgen. We hadden hem op
dat moment natuurlijk ook kunnen doden maar dat wilden we niet. Saddam
was een sterke man en die hadden we daar nodig. Hij was in staat om het
ganse Iraakse volk onder controle te houden. Maar ook bleef hij olie
produceren voor ons. Toch, ondanks dat zijn leger in de pan was gehakt, gaf
hij niet toe aan onze omkooppogingen. Indien hij erop was ingegaan zou hij
het land nog steeds regeren, alle wapens kunnen aanschaffen die hij wilde en
over de ganse wereld als een gevierd man worden ontvangen. Ook de
huurmoordenaars faalden keer op keer. Daarom stuurden we de militairen
weer naar daar om Saddam uit te schakelen. De militairen vernietigden alles
en daarom moest het land ook worden opgebouwd en dat kon alleen maar
door hoge leningen aan te gaan waardoor onze bedrijven nu alles opbouwen
in Irak en ook de olie voor een prijsje aan ons wordt verkocht. Dus, op een
rijtje: eerste worden de economische hitmen gestuurd en als deze falen
worden de huurmoordenaars gestuurd en als deze uiteindelijk falen wordt het
leger gestuurd.
Op deze manier heeft Amerika al een compleet imperium opgebouwd hoewel
het niet op een subtiele manier is gegaan is het wel clandestien. Alle vroegere
imperiums waren opgebouwd door militairen en iedereen wist dat ze werden
opgebouwd. Britten, Fransen, Duitsers, Romeinen en Grieken. Allen deden het
en allen waren er trots op. Ook zij verscholen zich achter holle kreten zoals
verspreiden van beschaving of opdringen van een geloof. Amerika doet dat
niet. De meeste Amerikanen beseffen niet eens dat we leven van de
opbrengsten van een clandestien opgebouwd imperium en dat er vandaag de
dag meer slavernij in de wereld is dan dat er ooit is geweest!
En nee, we hebben wel een president maar geen keizer die een imperium kan
leiden. Keizers worden niet gekozen en doen wat ze denken dat ze moeten
doen. Daarom is een president op zijn best iemand die bevelen uitvoert,
gegeven door de verborgen keizer. Ik noem het voor mezelf, corporatocratie.
Zij zijn de keizers die alles bepalen. De corporatocratie is een groep
individuelen die de grootste bedrijven besturen en werkelijk reageren en

regeren als een keizer. Ze controleren onze media doordat ze alles bezitten of
door de enorme advertentiecampagnes welk regelmatig worden ondernomen.
Neem een krant, kijk reclame op televisie. Dan weet u wie ons werkelijk
regeren. Zeker niet een president of uw wettelijk verkozen regering in Belgi.
Deze mensen hebben zich verkocht aan de corporatocratie. Van mensen aan
de top van een bedrijf weet men uiteindelijk niet meer of een dergelijk
persoon voor een bedrijf werkt of voor de regering. Dat soort mensen laveert
tussen overheidsfuncties en functies bij grote bedrijven. In Amerika was dat
heel duidelijk. Het ene moment was hij directeur van Halliburton het andere
moment was hij vicepresident van Amerika. Of, een president die in de
oliebusiness zit, of een pinda boer enzovoort. Wat maakt het dan uit welke
partijen worden vertegenwoordigd? Hoe meer volkse bezittingen worden
geliberaliseerd hoe onzichtbaarder onze staat wordt en uiteindelijk zal bij
sommige mensen de vraag boven komen drijven: wie is onze staat? U ziet er s
een ontzettende hechte relatie ontstaan tussen regeringen en bedrijfsleven.
Bedrijven hebben aanpassingen van of nieuwe wetten nodig? De politicus
ontwerpt ze. U moet goed begrijpen dat elke wet rechtvaardig moet zijn. Ik
geef u de raad om het Burgerlijk wetboek een keer door te nemen. Dat boek
geeft elk bedrijf het recht om zich te verlagen tot het niveau van een ordinaire
bandiet om alles weg te kunnen halen bij iedereen als het HEN uitkomt. Wat in
het wetboek niet staat is HOE bepaalde toestanden tot stand zijn gekomen.
Daar houdt de rechter geen rekening mee. En daardoor kunnen alle
vervuilende bedrijven ook door blijven werken zoals ze nu op een vervuilende
manier doen. Hoewel alles alternatief kan worden opgevangen, zorgen
bedrijven ervoor dat ze regeringen in hun zakken hebben waardoor ze gewoon
verder kunnen blijven doen! En, wat ook leuk is. Het grote publiek krijgt niet
alleen de rekening gepresenteerd. Door allerlei campagnes krijgt het grote
publiek ook nog eens een schuldgevoel opgedrongen. En wie zijn de
hoofdrolspelers in dit ganse verhaal? Het IMF en de Wereldbank! Ze spelen dit
spel op globale schaal. Daarom is het ook overal hetzelfde. Zien we allemaal
dezelfde nieuwsuitzendingen omdat alles wordt gecontroleerd en
gecensureerd. Eerst de bedrijven, dan de omgekochte regeringen en dan de
rekening doorschuiven naar de bevolkingen.
Libi 2011: Indien iedereen die een land bestuurt in de weg komt te staan
van de Nieuwe Wereld Orde wordt hij ausradiert zonder er veel woorden aan
vuil te maken. Eerst wordt er een karaktermoord op hen gepleegd daarna zal
het land worden aangevallen om hem werkelijk af te maken. Ik heb niet het
idee dat kolonel Kadhafy een heilige was maar in de bijbel staat duidelijk dat
je de man zijn karakter kunt aflezen door hetgeen hij doet. Wel, ik zal wat
informatie geven over hetgeen Kadhafy heeft gedaan voor zijn land en volk.
Deze zaken golden onder het regime van Kadhafy. Vele Libirs zullen de
westerse idioten al zeker miljoenen malen naar de hel hebben gewenst en ik
waarschuw allen om zeker de eerste honderd jaar naar Libi te gaan. De NAVO
nam de Libir het volgende af.
In Libi is elektriciteit vrij voor elke burger. Er bestaan geen intresten op
leningen en de Libische wet maakt dit verplicht. Een huis bezitten is voor Libi
een mensenrecht. Alle pasgetrouwden krijgen van de staat een startkapitaal
van 50.000 euro om een appartement of huis te kopen en een gezin te
starten. Onderwijs en geneeskundige zorg is volledig vrij. Als iemand in Libi
een boerderij wil beginnen dan krijgt hij alles van de staat om zijn boerderij te
starten. Huis, stallen, vee en zaaigoed plus alle apparatuur om het te
onderhouden. Indien Libirs hun geneeskundige behandeling of hun scholing
niet kunnen vinden mogen ze naar het buitenland vertrekken om het aldaar te
ondergaan vrij van kosten. Libi betaalt alles en geeft de Libir nog eens 2300

euro extra per maand om te kunnen leven in het buitenland en een auto te
huren. Als de Libir een auto aanschaft betaalt de overheid 50% van de
nieuwprijs. De prijs per liter benzine was in Libi onder Kadhafy 0,14 cent wij
betaalden toen rondom 1,30 euro. Libi heeft geen schulden aan het
buitenland en een reserve van 150 miljard, nu bevroren door de Amerikaanse
regering en banken. Als een Libir na zijn afstuderen geen werk kan vinden in
zijn vak, krijgt hij van de staat zijn overeenkomstig salaris totdat hij of zij een
baan vindt. De winsten op olie worden voor een bepaald percentage verdeeld
onder de bevolking. Een moeder die bevalt van een kind krijgt 5.000 euro. Een
brood kost 0,15 cent, wij betalen rondom 2 euro. Een kwart van alle Libirs
heeft een universitair diploma, wij krijgen steeds meer schoolverlaters zonder
diploma. Kolonel Kadhafy ontwikkelde het grootste irrigatie project in de
wereld om zijn woestijnland vruchtbaar te krijgen om genoeg voedsel te
kunnen laten groeien.
Ik laat het verder over aan u, lezer, om tot de conclusie te komen of de aanval
op Libi en Kadhafy rechtvaardig was om de wereld te verlossen van een
kwaad of dat er werd voldaan aan een verborgen agenda.
De techniek
Advocaten en bankiers hebben maar n objectief. Al uw geld afnemen en u
uw ganse leven in schulden laten wentelen. Vroeger waren alle munten
gebaseerd op de Pond Sterling en dit biljet was een certificaat om te bewijzen
dat er letterlijk een Pond Sterling Zilver bij de Bank of Engeland was
opgeslagen als backup voor dezelfde waarde op het papier vermeld. De
huidige munten: pond, dollar en euro zijn gebaseerd op, NIETS! De enige
waarde welke huidige munten nog voeren, zijn de waarden van het papier. Er
is geen belofte meer tot betalen van een pond Sterling Zilver, of een waarde
aan goud tegen teruggave. Er is niets meer. De huidige eurobiljetten
bijvoorbeeld mogen niet langer worden nagemaakt omdat er een copyright op
rust en dat is alles. De rest is pure oplichting omdat er niets meer aan
verbonden is dat zelfs maar lijkt op een onderpand, of het moet ons
belastinggeld zijn. Eigenlijk zou je ook mogen betalen met monopolygeld
omdat dit evenveel waard is. NIETS DUS!
Hoe gaat geldcreatie nu, op dit moment, in zijn werk? Laten we het voorbeeld
voor Belgi aanhalen. Op een gegeven moment heeft de Belgische regering
nood aan 10 miljard euro. Ze belt dan naar de Nationale Bank van Belgi, in
feite een private onderneming, een NV, waar alle andere private banken
aandeelhouder van zijn, en bestelt het geld. De Nationale bank zegt:
Natuurlijk krijgt u het geld, geen probleem maar dan willen we 10 miljard
staatsobligaties van jullie. Dus bedrukt de staat wat papier met een officieel
lijkend logo en dat noemen ze dan staatsobligaties. Ze geven er wat waarde
aan en de Nationale Bank zorgt dat haar drukkerijen aan het werk gaan om
het geld te drukken met een waarde van 10 miljard. Daarna wordt het geld
geruild tegen de obligaties of schatkistpapieren. De Nationale Bank stort dan
het geld op een speciale staatsrekening en dat is het. Het nieuwe geld is
gerecreerd, uit niets meer dan gebakken lucht. U ziet, geld heeft geen enkel
waarde dan het papier zelf! In realiteit gaat deze transactie puur elektronisch,
omdat er in deze tijd GEEN papier meer wordt gebruikt. U moet goed weten
dat er nog ongeveer 3% echt geld bestaat in Europa en die hoeveelheid wordt
elke dag minder. Daarom kunt u ook elke dag maar een beetje echt geld
opnemen en kunt u niet uw hele rekening verzilveren. Er is simpelweg niet
genoeg ECHT geld op de wereld omdat 97% van alle geld vals is en uit de
hoge hoed van meneer de staatsoplichter van de Nationale Bank is getoverd!
Oh, en de regering, met name premier en minister van financin, spelen dit

oplichtersspel doodleuk mee en wij betalen belasting voor het creren van
vals geld! Daarom zal er ook niets gebeuren als de banken failliet gaan. De
staat moet zorgen dat iedereen weer zij geld krijgt, maar nu ECHT GELD. Over
de ganse wereld waar de Nationale Banken het voor het zeggen hebben en
niet worden gecontroleerd door de staat, gebeurt het op eenzelfde manier.
Op eenzelfde manier werken ook de kredietmaatschappijen zoals VISA. U
betaalt met uw VISA kaart, daardoor wordt er krediet gecreerd en u moest
het bedrag ook nog eens terugbetalen. Dat heet dubbele winst. Als u echter
NIET kunt terugbetalen, terwijl de kredietmaatschappij het geld al heeft
VOORDAT u terugbetaalt, sturen ze een gerechtsdeurwaarder om alle spullen
aan te slaan en eventueel te verkopen! Weet u hoe dat heet. Diefstal door
fraude! Normaal gesproken heeft een gerechtsdeurwaarder geen enkele vorm
van bestaan in een kredietmaatschappij. Krediet wordt per direct betaald.
Hypotheken worden per direct betaald aan de bank, inclusief alle
termijnbetalingen EN intresten. Zelfs het huis staat al op uw naam voordat u
de akte hebt ondertekend bij de notaris, anders kunt u geen krediet krijgen
omdat het huis onderpand is.
Er is geen enkele waarde die correspondeert met het geld dat tegenwoordig
aanwezig is in onze maatschappij. En als we kijken naar een rechtszaak in
Amerika, betreffende hypotheken, hetgeen in feite overal op de wereld op
eenzelfde manier tot stand komt leren we het volgende: voor elk geldig
commercieel contract moet iets van waarde worden toegevoegd door beide
partijen om een commercieel contract geldig te maken. Dus, alleen een
ondertekend stuk papier heeft geen waarde. Als een bank voor een hypotheek
krediet genereert via de Nationale Bank is dat waardeloos geld omdat krediet
geen geld is en daar alleen al door is een hypotheekcontract volledig
waardeloos en wettelijk niet eens geldig. (In een hierop volgend artikel gaan
we dieper in op alle facetten van het frauduleuze gedrag van banken,
Nationale Bank en notarissen, betreffende hypotheken en leningen.)
In 1969 was er in de Amerikaanse staat Minnesota een man, Jerome Daly, naar
de rechtbank gestapt omdat de bank zijn huis had aangeslagen wegens
wanbetaling. Zijn argument was heel simpel: het hypotheekcontract verbindt
beide partijen eraan om iets in te brengen van gelijke waarde. Daly gaf zijn
huis als onderpand maar de bank kwam niet zover omdat ze bij de Nationale
Bank krediet lieten genereren dat werd overgemaakt. Krediet is nu eenmaal
GEEN geld en de bank kon fluiten naar zijn geld EN kon verder geen beslag
leggen op het huis. De bank had GELD tegenover de waarde van het
onderpand moeten stellen. Geld dat de bank bezat. Maar het geld dat de
bank gaf was uit de gebakken lucht getoverd zodoende hadden ze geen
enkele waarde tegenover het onderpand gezet! De CEO van de bank Mr.
Morgan, werd gevraagd om een woordje uitleg te geven en moest toegeven
dat het volledige bedrag voor de hypotheek werd gecreerd met behulp van
de Amerikaanse Nationale Bank (FED) en zo kwam het krediet als geld in de
boekhouding van de bank terecht. Hij moest eveneens toegeven dat er geen
enkele wet bestaat dat een bank de toelating geeft om geld te creren en
zodoende werd het geld op illegale wijze bijgemaakt.
Dus, de conclusie is: 97% van het geld dat er dagelijks omgaat via
banken is op illegale manier in circulatie en we noemen dat volgens
de strafwet, ook de Belgische, valsmunterij waar u en ik voor naar de
gevangenis gaan.
Consequenties
Waar ter wereld je ook gaat, er wordt steeds eenzelfde soort tactiek gebruikt
om mensen te bestelen, want dat is het. Maar als je begrijpt wat er aan de
hand is, ga je ineens begrijpen waarom vrije energie producten nog steeds

niet te koop zijn. Er bestaan autos die op water rijden. Aggregaten die op
water draaien en genoeg stroom kunnen leveren om uw huis te voorzien van
alles. En, niet duur!
Veel van ons inkomen gaat naar gebruik van energie. We hebben stroom nodig
voor al onze elektrische apparatuur, gas en huisbrandolie om te verwarmen
maar vergeet ook KONING auto niet deze rijdt alleen op energie gehaald uit
benzine of diesel!
Sinds onze jeugd wordt ons wijsgemaakt dat energie uit brandstof komt en dat
we brandstof moeten verbranden om aan deze energie te komen. Maar, i.p.v.
het individueel te doen, moet alles worden aangekocht bij een
energiemaatschappij. Waarom? Dit geldt trouwens ook voor windmolens en
alle andere vormen van energie. De energiemaatschappij zit er op n of
andere manier tussen. Het zij om stroom terug te kopen, het zij om een
verbod te realiseren voor particuliere windmolens.
Toch ook de uitvinders zitten er zelf voor veel tussen. Ze willen hun uitvinding
beschermen en wat zien we dan? Ze gaan naar een patentbureau om een
patent aan te vragen. Maar een patent bureau is eigendom van multinationals
die alle energiebronnen bezitten. Zodoende zullen ze alles tegenhouden wat
hun positie in gevaar kan brengen. Ook worden er uitvindingen gestolen en
worden uitvinders op een of andere manier het zwijgen opgelegd.
Bedreigingen zijn de minste manier van zwijgen opleggen.
Als ze dan eenmaal nieuwe uitvindingen hebben gestolen gebruiken ze ons
geld om de uitvindingen te maken in door de staat gesponsorde geheime
projecten en vooral Franse, Britse en Amerikaanse regeringen doen dit al meer
dan 100 jaar. Een uitvinding echter hebben ze niet binnenkamers kunnen
houden. Internet. En juist deze uitvinding heeft ervoor gezorgd dat er veel,
heel veel geweten is over geheime projecten, uitvinders die het zwijgen
worden opgelegd en dat soort dingen meer. Internet ondermijnt de grote
bedrijven die allemaal lid zijn van Bilderberg. Ze beseffen het en er moet een
slot op internet!
Ook universiteiten zitten in het verdomhoekje waaruit je niet veel moet
verwachten. Gerespecteerde faculteiten publiceren allerlei onzin als het gaat
over autos bijvoorbeeld. Ze laten wat zeepkisten op zonnecellen meedoen
aan een race en dat soort zaken. Maar, waarom produceren ze geen
brandstofcel met water als brandstof waar een auto onbelemmerd zijn energie
uit kan halen? Zelfs ik kan die maken omdat de blauwdrukken op internet zijn
gepubliceerd. Ik heb zelfs de blauwdrukken omdat er geen patent is
aangevraagd en zodoende alles vrij beschikbaar is. De Australische uitvinder
is bedreigd met de dood en zijn zogenaamde Joe Cell heeft hij op internet
gezet met ontwerpen erbij. Waarom werpen alle universiteiten zich niet
hierop? Ze moeten toch de belastingbetaler dienen, niet? Universiteiten staan
financieel onder druk. Als een professor een carrire wil hebben moet deze
regelmatig onderzoeken publiceren. Om dat te kunnen doen heeft hij
onderzoekers nodig en om onderzoekers aan het werk te kunnen zetten heb je
geld nodig. Snap je het plaatje? Sponsoren zijn bedrijven en filantropen die
uitmaken wat er mag worden onderzocht en vooral in hoeverre zoiets mag
worden doorgevoerd. Universiteiten staan dus in dienst van multinationals en
vergeten het volk. Dit is vooral de voornaamste reden dat vrije
energiebronnen nog steeds niet beschikbaar zijn. Universiteiten doen hun
werk niet. Professoren zijn bang voor hun baantje.
Want! Als wetenschappers van tussen hun uitgestippeld weggetje dat ze
mogen bewandelen van hun sponsoren, stappen en feiten publiek maken
zullen ze per direct worden aangevallen door hun collegas. Er wordt per direct
karaktermoord gepleegd door loze kreten zoals: breekt natuurkunde wetten en

is onmogelijk. Allerlei onzin wordt geproduceerd om sponsoren te beschermen.

Zo geven we een voorbeeld van vrije energie. In 2010 geeft Rosemary Ainslie
een
demonstratie
samen
met
haar
collegas
over
een
puls
verwarmingselement dat 17 X meer energie afgeeft dan het kleine
inputelement er energie aan toevoegt. Alle onderzoekers werken mee om dit
in een standaard wetenschappelijk paper te vatten om alles dan toe te sturen
aan het Institute of Electrical Engineers om het te laten verifiren en
publiceren. Het onderzoek werd afgewezen en dat is voor ons niet echt een
verrassing. De laboratoriumuitslagen lieten een conclusie zien. Geen enkel
uitgeversorgaan laat een conclusie passeren naar het grote publiek welke
impact heeft op de verdiensten van multinationals.
Als een uitvinder geen patent aanvraagt, en ook niet aan wetenschappelijke
publicaties doet, is het financieel onmogelijk om iets in productie te (laten)
nemen. Meestal komt er net genoeg geld voor een prototype en dan moet er
echt geld worden gezocht bij mensen wiens belangen worden geschaad als
een bepaalde uitvinding vrij beschikbaar wordt op de markt. Soms wordt een
uitvinder bedreigd en gentimideerd. Maar dikwijls komen uitvindingen niet op
de markt door gebrek aan geld.
Een voorbeeld: CalTech in Amerika spendeerde een miljoen dollar voor de
ontwikkeling, testen, bewijzen en perfectioneren van een nieuwe carburateur
die vervuiling van benzinemotoren zowat naar 0 bracht en ook het verbruik
zowat halveerde. CalTech neemt na enkele proeven een hele grote
autodelenfabrikant in de hand, Arvin Meritor om de carburateur in productie te
laten nemen. Arvin doet alle finale werk en wordt dan plots overgenomen One
Equity Partners en ze creren een nieuwe fabriek met de naam EMCON
Technologie. Het eerste wat EMCON van de band laat verwijderen is de
carburateur. Niet omdat deze niet goed werkte maar gewoon omdat de
carburateur werkte. Dat ding deed exact wat het beloofde: halveren van
verbruik en uitstoot zowat 0. Oliebedrijven hadden een budget vrijgemaakt
om Arvin Meritor over te nemen om het verbruik van benzine zo hoog mogelijk
te houden en uitstoot werd gezien als irrelevant.
Wordt het iedereen duidelijk waarom deze krant een hekel heeft aan
onze hoogwaardigheidsbekleders, regeringen, politieagenten,
rechters, advocaten, notarissen, premiers en ministers?
Ze helpen allemaal roeien voor de bank!
Wij, de bevolking, betalen de belasting!
