A fraction is made up of 2 numbers. The top number is called the NUMERATORS and
the bottom number is called the DENOMENATORS
Similar fraction- A fraction is in lowest term when the greatest common denominator
factor of the numerator and denominator is 1
Lowest term- the numerator and denominator of a fraction that have had all common
factors but 1 factored out and canceled.

1. Kit and Jovelyn were given P 200 by their grandma for their weekly allowance. Kit
received 1/2 amount of the money. What is the total amount of the allowance did left to
Jovelyn?
2. Rhea and Ricky were attended a debut party. Rhea eats 3/4 of the whole pakwan,
and Ricky eats twice as much Annabel has eaten. How many parts of the pakwan they
have eaten in all?
