DECEASED Please pray for the repose of the soul of Judith Frances West who died last week,
her Funeral Service will be on Thursday, 19th February at 12noon at Our Lady of Peace followed
by cremation at Slough Crematorium. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest
in peace. Amen.

TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED (X 2) St Josephs Catholic High School has two
vacancies for Teaching Assistants to work 30 hours per week (8.30am 3pm) Monday to Friday
during term time plus 5 inset days. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with GCSE (or
equivalent) Maths and English at grade C or above. Training will be given. Please see the

SIX LENTEN TALKS on The Covenants of God on Tuesday evenings at St Andrews starting on
24th February from 7.00pm to 9.00pm by Derek Williams.
FORTY HOURS ADORATION of Blessed Sacrament in preparation for our Lenten Journey on
12th, 13th and 14th February at Polish Church of Divine Mercy, 48 Pitts Road, Slough. Opening
Mass on Thursday 12th February at 6.00pm, Mass on Friday, 13th at 10.15am and 6.00pm and
Closing Mass on Saturday, 14th February at 9.30am. All welcome to join this desert

ST VINCENT DE PAUL meet at 2.00pm on Tuesday, 10th February in the Sacristy at Our Lady
of Peace. New members would be welcome. If you know of anyone who would like a visit from
the SVP please advise Yvonne.
CHURCH CLEANING will be on Saturday, 14th February at 9.00am. Please try and spare an
hour to help.
BISHOP PETER warmly invites you to The Diocesan Mass for Married Life, At Our Ladys
Church, Corby, Northants, NN17 1EE, on Saturday, 14th February. Bishop Peter encourages all
married couples and any of their family members to attend. They will gather from 11.30am
followed by Mass at 12noon. Bishop Peter will give his pastoral blessing to those couples
celebrating significant milestones in their Marriage i.e. 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 years. If you are

HUMAN TRAFFICKING Come, hear and learn more about Human Trafficking from Kevin
Hyland, The Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, and Fiona Mactaggart, MP for Slough, on
Monday, 23rd February from 7.30pm-9.00pm, at Holy Redeemer Church, Wexham Road,
Slough, SL2 5QR. You will have the chance to question a panel of speakers. The event is

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES The next session is on Saturday,
28th February from 9.30am 11.00am at St Andrews Church,
Cippenham. Please continue to pray for our children so that they will grow in
their appreciation of the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion
CONFIRMATION PROGRAM The first Session will be on Tuesday, 3rd
March from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and will be held in ST ANDREWS. The
Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Peter this year on
Tuesday, 23rd June at 7.30pm in Our Lady of Peace.
ST PATRICK'S DAY night of celebration in St Andrew's Church on Saturday,
14th
March. Stephen Barker will provide the entertainment with an Irish
music disco. To add to the flavor of the evening if you would like to bring
along an instrument and play, or sing a song on the evening you are most
welcome. Please bring your own snacks, there will be a licensed bar, Irish
bingo and a raffle. Donations of prizes for the raffle will be gratefully
accepted. Tickets will be on sale soon : 5 per adult, children free.
RETREATING TOWARDS EASTER For those preparing for Baptism and reception into the
Church this Easter, and for all who are journeying with them, at Pastoral and RE Centre, 33
