BACKGROUND

In many occupations or jobs, collaborate with peers favors the performance, quality
and time efficiency of the task being carried out, it can even improve animidad and
employee behavior within working hours.

According to Dr. Mara Gutirrez (2009) "Cooperative work can be defined as an

activity performed by two or more persons jointly equally or proportionally to
achieve goals and, ultimately, to learn."

Therefore, in the work in a primary school, collaborative work done by teachers of

the institution favors promote strategies and improvements in scheduled activities,
so that, with better analyzed actions, learners can achieve greater educational
quality within schools, and the problem is that many times, this type of
collaboration is not a real space in primary schools of Mexico.

In elementary school "Juventino Gonzalez Benavides TM" with key workplace

19DPR1659V area 92 Apodaca, NL, during the 2013 school year - 2014, this way
of working was applied and there were differences in modes of work some of the
15 teachers who labored there and implementation thereof peer of the same
degree, no longer working collaboratively to analyze the results of your classes and
plan the following, having impact on the scope of performance groups.

This subsequently observed by some colleagues who work there. And with that,
Professor Luis Alfredo Escobar Cabrera was decided to conduct an investigation to
analyze the effectiveness of collaborative peer (these being working in the same
grade) within your school.

Defining the problem

The collaborative work between teachers in the same school and the same degree
when analyzing and planning learning activities curriculum, increase the
educational quality of the teaching and student performance in the classroom. For
this reason, it was decided to conduct an investigation from the perspective of
teachers; within the school. As this form of work is not only for students:
Collaborative work alludes to students and teachers and guides the actions for

discovery, finding solutions, similarities and differences, in order to build learning

collectively. (Plan and programs, 2011. P.28).

This way, you can better analyze the strategies that are possible to implement and
the manner and time in which they must carry out collaborative work, and thus test
the research.

Justification

The collaborative work between teachers of the same group of elementary school,
can have significant benefits for teachers, as well, can increase communication
and animidad teachers during working hours, in addition to well-planned lessons,
time and use can be exploited efficiently, always looking for that student interest is
centered in activities designed, and this also benefits the students of these
teachers, they can improve academic achievement and increase educational
quality of teaching of master said.

The Plan and curricula of basic education 2011, in section 1.2 Plan to enhance
learning, teaching principles, which are essential for curriculum implementation
conditions, the transformation of teaching practice, the achievement of learning
and improving educational quality, reads:
"Planning is a substantive element of teaching practice to enhance student
learning towards skills development. Involves organizing learning activities from
different forms of work such as teaching situations and sequences and projects,
among others. Activities should represent intellectual challenges for students to
formulate alternative solutions.
To design planning is required:
Recognize that students learn throughout life and are involved in their learning
process.
Select teaching strategies that promote the mobilization of knowledge and
learning assessment consistent with the expected learning.
Recognize that relating to the design are the expected learning.
Build collaborative learning environments that foster meaningful experiences.

Consider evidence of performance that teachers provide information for decisionmaking and continue to promote student learning. "(2011. P.27).

Therefore, the design of the plannings must be assertive, and comply with the
above points, so that students can learn what is expected, and these teachings are
really significant in their learning.

The design work assisted way, you can increase the efficiency with which classes
are taught in elementary school, because the work between two or more teachers
of the same grade in the analysis and planning of academic content, you can
achieve greater performance associating with this, the use of appropriate teaching
materials, and selected through experience and with suitable graphics and used in
working time necessary items.

Working collaboratively can teach teachers to work in a way in which they learn to
solve problems efficiently and find positive solutions while developing
communication skills.

The usefulness of this research can be multifunctional, as if it can prove that the
results of collaborative work are favorable, could adapt their strategies and
implemented among all teachers of a school or a school zone.

objectives

To validate the effectiveness of collaborative work between teachers of the same

grade in the same school, to raise the quality of education imparted in classrooms
through analysis of previous classes and proper planning of the content to be
addressed by carrying out strategies work which takes into account the training
material and relevant working time.

Check collaborative work between teachers of the same level, you can increase
the effectiveness of the course content, and the proper design of teaching
materials used can give efficient results together with the correct use of class time.

Demonstrate how collaborative work between teachers can help them find more
effective solutions to the problems of their classrooms, as they develop and
augment their communication skills.

Evaluate research through the application of tools for assessment and analysis of
results, to validate its effectiveness in functionality and efficiency of collaborative
work between teachers of the same grade.

Scope and limitations

The research described herein, will be held at an elementary school, in order to

obtain feasible and true results, as the object of study will be the teachers of
different grades of primary education.
Since in this case the "Juventino Gonzalez Benavides TM" primary school with key
workplace 19DPR1659V area 92 Apodaca, NL, for the Region 06. Work done
during the school year 2013 - 2014 in which, currently working 15 teachers; having
two or three teachers per grade.

The latter will allow further elucidate the results of the inquiry, as to closely monitor
and evaluate the effectiveness of collaborative peer teachers, deductions may be
feasible to grant the validity of an effective investigation.

Moreover, the study is not available in another workplace more as you do not have
the time periods required to establish and comply with a schedule of appropriate
research that will yield results and truthful assessments in terms of improvement
the results to practice collaborative work among peers teachers.

Another limitation may be the investigation, is apathy or disinterest of the members

of the school. With negative work attitudes, can not be performed effectively.

As Shepherd (1990) states: "cooperative learning the general principle of

intervention, which is that an individual acquires his targets only if the other
participants acquire yours should be considered; It does not, therefore, the simple
summation of interventions, but the joint interaction to achieve predetermined
objectives. "

Procedure and description of activities

To validate the effectiveness of collaborative work in class analysis and planning

among teachers of the same grade equivalent, these being part of the same
school, trying to raise the quality of education, the following actions are performed:

Inform teachers of primary school where the research purpose of the meeting will
be held, and the procedures to be followed to complete it.

Collaborative work has a number of characteristics that differentiate it of teamwork

and other forms of group organization. Some of them are:
It is based on a strong relationship interdependence of different members
comprising it, so that the final scope of the goals concerns all members.

Previously know the characteristics of primary school, and to investigate the scope
and level of education of teachers, as well as how to analyze and plan their
classes, to identify and improve deficiencies that can be tested.

Being aware of the academic performance of students in different subjects by way

of diagnosis, in order to know the starting point and design research properly and
that the results are real.

Strengthening collaborative work of teachers with support and reinforcement

strategies that can benefit working to improve the quality of their classes and
therefore the education of their students. "Collaborative learning ... is that two
students work together and share the workload evenly as they progress towards
planned learning outcomes" (BARKLEY, CROS and HOWELL MAJOR, 2007, p.
18).

Evaluate different instruments such as rubrics and checklists to participating

teachers and students reviews written by real way to test the results of the
investigation.

Concluding observations and ideas that will yield research results concretely
expressing whether the effectiveness of the central objective will be checked.

Timeline

The activities planned and described above, will be conducted at different times,
with this diagnosis, the implementation of strategies for collaborative work and
evaluations and conclusions from the results.

Such action shall be implemented over a period of time from March to June 2015,
this being within the school year 2014 - 2015 the students and teachers are
currently involved.

The next research will generate some costs, which range between 520 and 550
pesos and is broken down into the following activities: printing and photocopying of
diagnostic tests and finals, also prints rubrics and checklists. These costs will be
settled by Professor Luis Alfredo Escobar Cabrera, elementary teacher and
currently keeps track of the investigation.
