Learning Outcome : At the end of the lesson, students should be able to;
1. Fill in the blanks with the most appropriate words provided
and complete a paragraph in groups.
2. Rearrange the paragraphs accordingly.
Activities

Teaching Aids

i. Pre- (Lecture)
Teacher shows some pictures of incidents and prompts the
students with some questions. Teacher explains the
sequences of writing an incident and shares a sample essay.
ii. While(Fill in the blanks)
Students are divided into 3 groups and each group is given
different pictures with incomplete paragraphs. Students fill
in the blanks and paste the appropriate words on the
board.
(Class discussion)
Each group read aloud the paragraphs and teacher corrects
their answer.
(Paragraph rearrangement)
Teacher selects some students to rearrange the paragraph
accordingly in front of the class until they manage to get
the correct sequence.
iii. PostStudents copy the paragraphs to form an essay of an
incident.

Ali sold the eggs in the afternoon. He went to the shops
by van. Ali was happy because he has learnt doing business
from his grandfather.
