I am Colonel Ph.D. Vladimir Gruji. I met Mister Dragan Lazi at the Military
Academy, where I was his teacher and mentor, as a Dean for education and the
assistant of Chief of the Military Academy. My writing of this recommendation is
based on our joint teaching and research work.
I first met Mr. Dragan Lazi in March 2010 as a fourth year student at the air force
department when I accepted to be a mentor in writing of his graduate work, titled
("SERBIAN AIR FORCE BEFORE THE SECOND WORLD WAR"). This work was
proclaimed to be the best thesis for the academic year 2010 by the Military
Academy, and it was published in its entirety in the military part number .... ()
In subsequent years, Mr. Dragan Lazi and I published a number of scientific and
technical articles on crisis management in the air force. The same papers were
peer-reviewed and printed, published at (location ngo ...), as well as in the magazine
of the Faculty of Business Industrial Management in Belgrade .With my assistance
and suggestion, Mr. Dragan Lazi completed his Masters degree at the Traffic
Engineering Faculty in Belgrade on 7th March 2013, the Department of Air Transport,
with the highest mark. Also, we came to a conclusion that it would be desirable to
complete the Masters degree on meteorology at the Physics Institute in Belgrade,
which he enrolled at the beginning of November 2013. He passed some of the
exams before going to America. Our mutual work was also writing and publishing
books in sociology in 2011 and school books in human resource management in the
academic year 2013 where Mr. Dragan Lazi was a word processor, a stylist and an
illustrator. Both books are used in High business school of professional studies in
Beogradu.Zajedniki we published a large number of recognized scientific papers,

In addition to his academic training, Mr. Dragan Lazi continued his training to
obtain a commercial pilots license for air travel. With the financial support of his
parents, he managed to pass all the exams and get the certificate of air travel
pilot. Since he could not get the workplace as a pilot in Serbia, for the commonly
known reasons, he came up with the idea that he eventually achieved to show and
demonstrate his abilities in America, the land of challenges and opportunities. I
firmly believe that Mr. Dragan Lazis potentials have not been fully manifested yet
because in a small community like Serbia there have objectively been no
opportunities for that.Since I am personally familiar with his work, intellectual and
human qualities I am sure that his potentials as a pilot and a young scholar will fully
develop in the United States and that these results will be achieved at the mutual
benefit .I can surely claim that Mr. Dragan Lazi will put all his efforts and personal

involvement to justify your trust and that he will use all his potentials into the
development of the Air Force of the United States.
