Maintain open and honest communication with staff, students and parents

Assist the Principal in various management and monitoring activities, district
occupational health and safety, special education information, evaluation of staff, and
staff growth plans.
Together with administration staff, actively participate in staffing the school with people
dedicated to the students in our care.

Assist in maintaining discipline of students and when necessary, staff.
Mentor new staff members to support teaching and learning
Create schedules for teachers and support staff including teaching loads, support hour
allocations and supervision
Supervision, evaluation and planning of support staff as the administrative liaison
Assist in the implementation, organization and compiling of teacher, student and support
staff handbooks
Plan and present Volunteer Orientations for parents at all grade levels

Active participant in School Resource Team


Worked collaboratively with district employees to create Leadership Academy series 2
module 4 and present Leadership Academy module 4 series 1 and 2
Organize, coordinate and plan various special events at the school level
Assist in planning and preparation for celebrations and school wide events

Assist with communication to parents with contributions to monthly newsletters
