Summer Youth Intern
The Internship will be from May 28th- Aug. 9th a stipend of $2,000 will be
paid out over the duration of the summer term. It will be expected that
the intern come in everyday Sunday-Thursday. A set schedule will be
determined in the first week. Must be Safe Gathering Certified, and must
be 21 or older.
Duties & Responsibilities

Be in charge of Social Media posting one post every day;


Travel and assist Youth Director with the Youth 2015 Trip to
Orlando, FL;
Plan from start to finish one big event, i.e. Lock-in, Spiritual
Retreat etc.
Actively participate in planning and set up of all activities with
youth including but not limited to:
o UMYF- Weekly Youth Group
o Sunday School
o Fundraising
o Bible Study
o God Squad- Weekly Volunteer Day
Brainstorm and Plan other weekly activities for CUMC youth;
Participate in VBS with the set up and with the implementation;
Attend a Hospital visit with one of the pastors;
Shadow Administrative staff to see the inner workings of the
Church Office;
Attend a staff meeting;
Maintain a positive atmosphere by behaving and communicating in
a manner that supports youth, staff, and parents;
