flawedstoneshavetheoppositeaffect."
Andfromtheancient"AgniPuranam"chap.246,slokas7&8:
"Agemfreefromallimpuritiesandradiatingitscharacteristicinternallustershould
belookeduponasanescortofgoodluckAgemwhichiscracked,fissured,
devoidofluster,orappearingroughorsandy,shouldnotbeusedatall."
AndagaininthechaptersofSriGarudaPuranam,wefindthisquoteonrubiesby
SriSutaGoswami:
"Aruby,althoughgenuine,shouldnotbewornifithasstrongcolorbanding,
excessiveinclusionswithinlikenumerousinternalcracks,asandyappearance,a
roughsurface,orisdullandlusterless.Anyoneusingsuchaflawedruby,evenout
ofignorance,willsufferfromdisease,orlossoffortune."

chantingareofutmostimportanceit'snoteasy,norisitrecommended,forlay

Itisimportanttounderstandthat,whilstremedialmeasurescanbebeneficialin
restoringharmonytothatparticularquality(withinus),thekarmathatisduein
thislifewillmanifestattheappropriatetime,albeitinalessseveremanner.
