Dear Coach
You are now an accredited Community Coach and have done your
General Principles towards a Taekwondo Coaching Accreditation (or you
might already be a taekwondo coach) and we want to help you deliver
taekwondo in a Playing for Life style for the Active After Schools
Taekwondo Program.
Please find enclosed a week-to-week program for you to use as a guide in
your delivery of the AASC Taekwondo program for Primary Schools and
Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Organisations.

The Queensland Government provided

Taekwondo Queensland Inc funding get more
Queenslanders active through sport and
recreation.

This guide is to assist you in developing a suitable program, depending on

the individual school requirements (class size, age group etc) and your
preferences. You do not have to stick to this but we hope it helps and
would like your feedback and suggestions.
Remember . . . the key is to make each lesson FUN and a POSITIVE
EXPERIENCE for the participating children.

REMEMBER
This is meant to be a guide for
teaching people
who know TAEKWONDO
about how to include games
into lessons to make the activity
more fun oriented
and part of the
Australian Sports Commissions
Playing for Life concept.
We have intentionally NOT
included instruction or
illustrations on
TAEKWONDO TECHNIQUES
and are relying on our coaches to
have a thorough understanding
of taekwondo.
