Mumbai, May 14, 2013: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (KMB) and its technology partner Servion Global
Solutions (Servion), specialists in Customer Interaction Management (CIM) solutions and
applications, received Asian Bankers Best Self-Service Banking Project Award for 2012 at the
seventh Asian Banker Technology Implementation Awards Programme at Jakarta. KMB and Servion
were presented the award for devising a solution to enhance KMBs self-service application which
provides customers the option to be called back without losing their place in any call queue that
builds to a waiting period exceeding 45 seconds. By offering this facility, KMB has experienced a 50%
drop in its abandoned call rate as customers are served better.
The awards programme, administered by The Asian Banker and refereed by prominent global
bankers, IT consultants and academics, is the most prestigious of its kind. A stringent three month
long evaluation process determined the winners from across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The
winners were honored at an event that recognised their efforts in implementing the best technology
solutions and thereby bring superior products and services to their customers.

The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the prestigious award winning Asian Banker
