Purpose
Customer requires to delete unused LPN delivery detail lines with released_statu
s = 'X'.
How to accomplish it ?
Questions and Answers
Development provided the following instructions in a WSH Forum posting:
There are two methods to purge/delete the records.
1)Delete LPN from the form
Query all such LPNs from Shipping Transaction Form and
then select all the record and delete (It should delete only empty lpns).
OR
2)Use WSH_CONTAINER_PUB.Container_Actions with action as DELETE to delete the
LPNs.
To identify the records , please execute the select statement
select a.delivery_detail_id
from apps.wsh_delivery_details a,
apps.wsh_delivery_assignments wda
where wda.delivery_detail_id = a.delivery_detail_id and
wda.delivery_id is null and
container_flag = 'Y' and not exists
(select 1
from apps.wsh_delivery_assignments b
where b.parent_delivery_detail_id = a.delivery_detail_id)
This query will return all the Empty LPN's which are not assigned to any
delivery. All the records returned by this query all passed to
WSH_CONTAINER_PUB.Container_Actions which will delete all of them.
