Sealed item rate tenders are invited by Asstt. General Manager Engg. (E)-II, EMC, AAI, RHQ, NR,
Operational Offices, Rangpuri, New Delhi-110037 on behalf of Chairman, AAI from approved energy
audit firm/auditors of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in similar nature of work for the following
work:

2) Tenders will be issued from 27/01/2014 to 28/01/2014 up to 1730 hrs. and received till 12/02/2014 up to 1500 hrs.
and shall be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs.. The scope of work includes Energy Auditing of AAIs
Operational Offices, Rangpuri, Building at New Delhi
3) Tender forms will be issued to those agencies who produce certificate from clients of having satisfactorily
completed at least three works each of ` 80,000.00 or two works each of ` 100000.00 or one work of
` 160000.00 estimated cost in similar nature of work i.e. Energy Auditing of major public utility buildings/
Offiecs/ Institution/ Airports/ Hospitals/ Shopping Complex/ Hotels etc. during the last seven years ending on
31/12/2013. (Firms showing work experience certificate from Non-Government/Non-PSU organization should
submit Tax Deduction at Source Certificate in support of their claim for having experience of stipulated value of
works), produce proof of annualized average financial turnover of ` 60,000.00 of estimated cost during the last
three years ending 31st March of previous financial year. Phase / Part completion of the scope of work in a
contract shall not be considered.
4) Application for issue of Tender Documents shall be submitted till 15/01/2014 up to 1700 Hrs. on all working days
along with Tender fee (Non Refundable) of Rs.563.00 (Rupees Five Hundred Sixty Three Only (i/c VAT 12.5%) in
the form of Demand Draft in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at New Delhi. The application shall
be supported with self-attested copies of Valid Registration with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE),
Permanent Account Number (PAN), PF & ESI Registration, Service Tax Registration, and client certificate for
experience indicating date of completion as per agreement and actual date of completion of work. The financial
turnover should be supported with annual report (abridge balance sheet and profit & loss account) and
documentary proof of owing, leasing and possessing required machinery and T & P shall be submitted. Without
self attestation documents, application will not be considered for issue of tender.
5) Tenderers willing to receive tender documents by post should enclose a self addressed envelope and add ` 200/as postal charges to the tender cost along with the application. AAI shall not be responsible for any postal delay
in any way.
6). AAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application without assigning any reasons. AAI reserves the
right to disallow issue of tender document to working agencies whose performance at on going projects are below
par and unusually poor.
7). If at any stage, any information/document submitted by the applicant is found to be false, the agency shall be
liable for debarment from tendering in AAI, apart from any other appropriate/legal action.
8). The application shall be accompanied with Annexure-A (check list) the same must be properly filled & duly
signed with stamp. Without checklist applications will not be accepted / considered for scrutiny. The checklist can
be downloaded from AAI website i.e. www.airportsindia.org.in/www.aai.aero/tender/tender search/download.
