Making music has always been a way for me to fulfill my dreams, to challenge myself and to travel through uncharted lands. The stories of those lands, filtered
through my personality, is what I share in a musical form with my listeners.
After the release of my previous album, Imaginary Room, I had the opportunity to share the stage of the Berlin Philharmonic with Yaron Herman. It was an
extraordinary, magical moment for me. I felt as if I have taken a deep breath and have found new impulses. A very classic duo of violin and piano turned out to
be astonishingly fresh and opened up new creative possibilities for me. By scaling back and using only two instruments I was able to showcase my music in a
very detailed view, to focus on the music's structure, its' colour, the vibrations of the strings, the whisper of the bow.
The theme of The New Tradition album is a very important one. Tradition is my point of reference. Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go? Classical
European music, Polish folk-music, Polish jazz this is my tradition, this is what surrounded me in my formative years and this is what my music refers to.
This album is another dream fulfilled, one that I would like to share with you.
Thank you Yaron for your creativity and sensitivity for music, for being part of this!

Tworzenie muzyki zawsze byo dla mnie swego rodzaju spenianiem marze, rzucaniem sobie wyzwa i przemierzaniem nowych nieznanych ldw, aby opowie
o nich przekaza dalej w formie dwikw przefiltrowanych przez moj osobowo.
Po ostatnim albumie "Imaginary Room" miaem okazj koncertowa w duecie z Yaronem Hermanem w Berlin Philharmonic. To by dla mnie niezwyky i magiczny
moment. Poczuem, e api duo potrzebnego mi powietrza i nowych bodcw. Tak klasyczna konwencja skrzypce - fortepian okazaa si by niezwykle wiea i
daa mi nowe moliwoci twrcze. Dziki instrumentalnemu minimalizmowi mogem ukaza jeszcze wicej detali swojej muzyki, jej struktur, kolor, drganie strun,
szum smyczka.
Album "The New Tradition" odnosi si do wanego zagadnienia jakim jest Tradycja. To ona daje mi punkt odniesienia. Kim jestem? Skd pochodz? Dokd
zmierzam? Klasyczna muzyka europejska, polski folklor, polski jazz - to moja Tradycja, w niej wyrastaem i do niej odnosi si moja nowa muzyka.
Dzikuj Yaronowi Hermanowi za jego wraliwo. Ta pyta, to kolejne spenione marzenie, ktrym chciabym podzieli si z Wami.
Faire de la musique a toujours t pour moi un moyen de raliser mes rves, de me remettre en question et de voyager travers des terres inconnues pour
en transmettre lhistoire sous forme des sons filtrs par ma personnalit.
Aprs la sortie de mon dernier album "Imaginary Room", jai eu loccasion de partager la scne de la Philharmonie de Berlin avec Yaron Herman. C'tait un
moment extraordinaire et magique pour moi. Je me senatais comme si javais pris une respiration profonde et trouv de nouvelles impultions. Un duo trs classique
violon-piano sest avr extrmement frais et ma offert de nouvelles possibilits de cration. Le minimalisme instrumental ma permis de prsenter ma musique
dans tous ses details, sa structure, sa couleur, les vibrations des cordes, le bruit de larchet.
Lalbum "The New Tradition" se rfre au sujet important quest la Tradition. Cest elle qui est mon point de rpre. Qui suis-je ? Do viens-je ? O vais-je ? La
musique classique europenne, le folklore polonais, le jazz polonais, cest ma tradition, cest dans quoi jai grandi et cest quoi ma nouvelle musique se rfre.
Je tiens a remercier Yaron Herman pour sa sensibilit. Cet album est un autre rve accompli que je souhaiterais partager avec vous.
