Welcome to Dead Man Walking the game where you take on the role of a survivor in the Zombie Apocalypse. To Play Dead Man Walking you will Need : - At least 3 People ( 1 GM and 2 Players ) - A Number of D10s ( Ten Sided Dice ) - Some Paper ( at Least 4 Pieces Per Games Session ) - 3 Pens ( the funkier the better ) - 3 Pencils with eraser ( if the ones on the pencils are rubbish get some rubbers too !! ) - Some form of Edible snack which isnt good for you ( not Brains :p steak is good ) - Beer , Coke ( either type , or Pepsi counts ), or Ice Tea (Cause Ice Tea is the best) - Some Little figures of Zombies ( or whatever else you fancy using) - Some Little Figures to represent your character ( dont get a rubbish one ) - Some little figures of other characters which may pop up in the game ( cause they do) - Somewhere sensible to play ( A House , Pub, Gaming Club , Subterranean Bunker etc ) - Time ( you dont want to have to leave when the actions getting going !!! ) First Players Must Pick A Character Type ( they get different starting equipment): Comic Book Nerd - ( 4 comics , An Encyclopedia ,paper and a pair of Binoculars ) Survivalist - ( 7 cans of Beans , A Swiss Army Knife , a book on Survival ) Metalhead - ( Black Paint , Black Makeup , chain ( 1 meter ), and a kitchen knife ) Sports Coach - ( Baseball bat ,baseball glove, Baseball ball, red card , yellow card ) Ex Military - (Pistol and 10 encounters Ammo ) Other ( Negotiate with GM ) Then Pick a Starting Perk: Strongman - + 5 to Strength and Toughness Wikireader - + 5 to Intelligence and Fellowship Target Practice - + 10 shooting when using a Handgun or pistol Drive ( Car ) Drive ( Motorcycle )
Roll The Stats
SHO CC STR TOU DEX FEL INT PER W F roll a d10 for each of the stats except W and D and ad a 0 to the end of the number , for example if you roll a 3 your stat would be 30 if you get 1o in this roll you get only 10. you may alter your stats taking away from another statistic and adding it to suit your charecter exept for wounds and fate you may however swap 2 wounds for a fate point but not vice versa .for W roll a D10 and dont ad a 0 and for F roll a D5 (half whatever you get on a D10 ).
