Welcome to the Early Beta and Thank You for Your Continued Support!
In addition to the information below, weve recently added tutorial messages to the game. Remember
to look for the in-game tutorial messages that will appear on the right-hand side of your screen while
playing the game. These can be switched off in the Settings menu if you dont want to see them.
We have not yet completed our optimization pass, so if youre experiencing a low frame rate, start with
the game at the lowest video resolution and quality settings and slowly increase these settings if you
experience acceptable frame rates on playing the game. Some locations may run better on your
computer than others.
For the best possible gaming experience, we do recommend playing on the highest settings your system
supports.

Movement
Movement is defaulted to party movement mode. Right clicking in the world will cause your party to
run to that location. You can change the movement mode to individual by hitting the spacebar or
selecting the group/individual button on the HUD. Sometimes i t is necessary to split up your party to
complete difficult objectives or to set up for fights.
In party movement, you will have a leader selected for the group. Their portrait on the party list is
larger than the rest. This is the party members whose skills are currently active and can be seen on
the hotkey bar. They will also be the first to enter into conversations when you click to talk.
Companion NPCs
You will find companions throughout the Wasteland. Some will ask to join your party, while others
youll need to convince. You can have up to 7 party members at any one point. To remove a CNPC
squad member, you click on the Dismiss Button in that squad members character screen.
Combat
During combat, the game shows the turn order in the top left corner of the screen. This tells you what
character will get to act next.
On the field you will see a blue outlined radius around your character, which indicates how far he or she
can move and still fire his currently equipped weapon. The yellow outline shows how far the character
can move in total. The red circle radius shows your weapon's maximum range.
Cover is indicated by small "shield" icons displays if you mouse over any location that is in cover. Cover
provides significant to-hit penalties for enemies.
When you select an enemy, the game provides two additional displays of information:
The enemy information display shows the
percentage to hit (71%), identifies the
enemy by name (Wrecker), his total CON
(hit points) (20/20), his armor (03) and his
evasion chance (0%).
