Manage a finance team to handle maintenance of the GL system, including treasury management, reconciliation of all accounts
and reporting of payroll and corporate taxes on a federal, state and municipality basis. Coordinate all financial reporting for
the executive team that included the acquisition of three companies within a three year time period; oversee all IT related
functions, including first level support of 100 plus users and maintaining the corporate network, infrastructure, telephone
system and mobile communications; manage the relationship of all vendors, including our network service provider; build,
maintain and deploy corporate budgets annually; coordinate and execute the annual financial and 401k audits with the
external auditor; proactively manage our expenses and maintain policies to minimize excessive spending; oversee all corporate
GAAP, legal and industry compliance; and ensure the upkeep of all corporate facilities and security.
Reduced Audit turn time from 60-75 days down to 30 days, resulting in the elimination of fees due to late state licensing
filings.
Researched and deployed a new GL system. These changes saved several hundred thousand dollars annually.
Negotiated and implemented a new banking relationship that provided for more flexibility for our payroll and financial
areas, along with negotiating three separate lines of credit that enabled an acquisition of a local PEO. My efforts resulted
in an acquisition that increased revenues by 25%.
Rebuilt the entire corporate network to address aging infrastructure and stability, saving $ 100,000 annually.
