Dear Christian li-ienda:

Once again we

greet you from the "Land of MaSana (tomorrow) where we are

preaching Christ today.

I read an article not too long ago which was entitled, "God Itoes ITot Have

Any (h-andchlldren," referring to the fact that each person must accept or
reject Christ ^no one rides into Heaven on the coat-tails of another

person, even tho it he a saintly father or mother. I thought at that time,

"Ho, God doesn't have any grandchildren, BUT CHRISITJUT UOEKSRG CERTAIITLT DOi"
Enclosed is ajlcture of four of Geneva's and ray "Spiritual (h-andchildren, "
These youth represent three afferent Christian Churches organized here in
Herraosillo thru our efforts. (The hoy and the girl on the far right are twins.)
These are the continuing fruit of our 10 years of efforts in this Mission
Field.

As you continue to undergird us vdth prayer and regular financial si^port and
we continue to vdtness, to teach, to preach, and to live Christ before these
Ilexican people, perhaps the Lord in Ids Mercy will allow us to see our

Spiritual Great-Va^dchildren. Ue pray that it may he so.

Thank you and God hless you and yours.

OCTOBER 1967
Sear SVieads of Mexico:

Thanlcs to each of you " for remanhering us in your dally prayers and to you, who like
sent your prayers] We read the story of a groi?) of Christians who laet In a
home to pray for the " piyaical-needs of a-certain destitute family. As they were
pt'/oying someone insistantly knocked on the door. It wss finally opened and the young

"boy was thouroughly scolded for internpting the prayer meeting. He calmlysaid
couldn't come toni^t, "but if all you men will come out to the wagon, you cah help
me unload Pa's PRATERS] "

We have just had our

convention in the almost finished Oolonia Olivares

"'"'.ding. The fact that there was no door, nor were there electric lights (the

whole area is Being wired at the same time) didn't dim the ^irit of the "brethern
who met

to hear an ex-student of M,B,S, speak.

His wife added much to the

service "by playing the accordionand made us realize how much we needed someone
wlio can play

"something".

(Jerry has "been having strmach trouble again and after the ordinary medications
didn''t do anything for him,
Srnesto decided to have a stool examination made,..

Sure enough he had been re-inf^cted and was playing host to a "Zoo" of intestin^
man who left the sample, is suppose to kill all parasites, Per the durati^ of

parasites thafcisj Doctor gave him a new medicine which according "to the detail

decide that the cure was worse than the

disease.

He's getting better, tho

The "cure" is 10 days of medicatien, 10 days

rest then another 10 days of medication.

He is in the

"rest" period now.

Thanks for remembering us in prayer, and a special thanks to you who like
