1. Mounting Installation
A. The customer should make sure that the model received conforms to the one ordered, before
installation.
B.

Visually check the appearance of the product carefully. If signs of parts falling off or broken
are found, send it back immediately for repair to avoid danger.

C.

Insulation test:
(1) Check the resistance between normal power input and conductive outer casing.
(2) Check the resistance between emergency power input and conductive outer casing.
(3) Check the resistance between the loading input terminal and conductive outer casing.
If the resistance of the above checking is less than 500K, it is not normal.
PS: The product contains a built-in electronic control circuit; therefore, using a
high-resistance tester in insulation testing is strictly prohibited, as it may damage
the electronic circuitry.

Installation site
(1) Working temperature: -5~+55
(2) Relative humidity: 0~85
(3) Max. decline angle: 22.5
(4) Avoid working in environment with explosive or corrosive gas
(5) Avoid working in site with high vibration levels
(6) Avoid working in site with high dust density
(7) The distance from the center of switch lever to the floor should be at least 130 140
cm.

Description
After being connected to 220VAC, BTS will switch to
normal power supply (operating current 16A)
BTS switches to normal power supply and connects
BTS switches to normal power supply and connects
After being connected to 220VAC, BTS will switch to
emergency power supply (operating current 16A)
BTS switches to normal power supply and connects
BTS switches to normal power supply and connects

Note:
(1) Make sure to remove the manual lever before switching on the power supply of the control
circuit to prevent accidents.
(2) The circuit of A1, A2 and B1, B2 should be designed to be electrically and interchangeably
locked to avoid concurrent power supply, which would cause damage.

Under normal power supply: a1,a2/a3,a4 open b1,b2/b3,b4 close.

Under emergency power supply: a1,a2/a3,a4 close b1,b2/b3,b4 open.

(5) Aux. contacts cannot be applied to ATS control circuit.

B. Manual operation (Do not operate while the switch is under load)
(1) Remove the power supply of the control unit
(2) Insert the manual handle on the switching lever
(3) Switch manually:
Upward emergency power supply
Downward normal power supply
Note: Before manual operation, remove the power supply first, and check for idle running, to
avoid danger.
