Jezreel." 1 Kings 18:46 KJV
DESTINED FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE
Every starter often needs a push for that initial breakthrough! Everyone needs a helping hand to reach his
designed destination. The sick may need a physician to get well. The student will always need a teacher to decode
academic puzzles. The newly employed is often given a mentor he needs to shadow if he must understand the
dynamics of the work environment. And to every situation, there is always a more informed individual than yourself
who will need to lift you up to your position of influence; and if you find such a person, life becomes simplified for
you. There is no difficult situation you cannot dismantle if you seek for and get the right help. Alex Haley, the
author of Roots, had a picture hanging in his office. It was a picture of a turtle sitting on top of an eight-foot-high
fencepost, and the caption on the picture reads, 'You can be sure he didn't get up there by himself'! To the turtle,
getting to the top of that fence was a great impossibility, but with the help of someone else, the impossible
became a dream realized for that turtle. Fiend, what is impossible to you might be a helping hand away. Make
yourself available for a helping hand to discover you, especially at your time of crucial needs, and you will find out
that the impossible weren't that unreachable to make it possible after all. When the hand of God is on you, you will
surely do the impossible. It happened to Elijah you know! He ran on foot to overtake Ahabs chariot. You too can do
like Elijah when Gods hand is on you. You are destined for the impossible. Jesus died for you to do the impossible.
You may feel incapable of doing any exploit for the Kingdom, but one thing remains clear that it is God's
favour that will perform the impossible through you. Never you forget, that if God's Hand is on you, you are
destined to do the impossible. No wonder in Deuteronomy 32:30, the Bible says, "How should one chase a thousand,
and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?" Notice the
word, "EXCEPT", in this Scripture! In essence, it is impossible for one to chase a thousand, and then two put ten
thousand to flight, EXCEPT God is their Helping Hand. When you are under God's favour, the word impossible is
erased from your dictionary. And do you know why you will succeed in your exploit? Daniel 11:32 quickly comes to
mind, "...the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." Friend, God is your helping hand. He
has planned out how He would help you. He will do it through sources you may not even expect. If you allow it that
way, you will surely be walking in the realm of your miracles. God will always help those that left the choice for Him.
Maybe this follow up Scripture will make you excited: Jeremiah 32:27 records an age long question, "Behold, I am
the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? My conclusion is that with God's favour, you will
excel in every endeavor that He brings your way; for if He is the originator of it, He will guide you to a favourable
and expected end. God knows the way that you daily take to the end of your endeavors. Beloved, you are destined
for the impossible, and if you know this, then you will flourish in an atmosphere of Joyful Living experience. Amen?
