Hedonistic lifestyle is a lifestyle of seeking pleasure, the satisfaction of the world,

where it is not a requirement but desire. Examples of luxury living, riotous, making
out in public, free sex and selfish. The causes ranging from parents who prohedonic, reading and viewing (materialism, shopping and dating, ads about
perfume, makeup, sexy clothing, jewelry, vehicles and luxury homes). Hedonism is
doctrine of Greece. In the past, hedonism still has a positive meaning. But
understand this now shifted to the negative direction. Students hedonist in
Indonesia generally have a motto dependent and spend parents' money. While
Europeans and Americans work hard desperately to make hedonism lifestyle.
"teenage slang and funky" must have mobile phones and clothes and makeup
updates. For those who can not afford, they changed into prostitute and illegitimate
professions. Even some people think that we live for ourselves For many people,
they do sins to get into their will. In fact, corruption, collusion and nepotism,
manipulation, lying, and others. One of the main causes of this hedonistic lifestyle.
Characteristics of hedonism:
1. egoistic hedonism
Example: eat-food that tastes good in the a lot amount and different types. When
the stomach is full, the stomach contents can spit out, then refilled other foods.

2. Universal Hedonism
maximum happiness for public. Example: all-night party, there should not be
anyone who missed.
Many people consider everything to be gained by money and power, but the Lord
said in Luke 22:26 "But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you
should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.". The
Lord also said, that we should not be similar to this world, "Do not conform to the
pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect
will. "(Romans 12: 2)
Jesus vs. Hedonism

Lord Jesus actually taught us to attach

great importance to spiritual things in Matthew 10:28 "Do not be afraid of those
who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can
destroy both soul and body in hell." In Colossians 3:2 "Set your affection on things
above, not on things on the earth." The Lord Jesus also taught in Matthew 10:38
"And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
Deny themselves can be interpreted as throwing selfish. Take up the cross means
take the burden of the LORD. Following the Lord is imperative. The Lord told me:
"The selfish is hedonism brother." In Luke 3:11 the Lord teaches us not selfish "He
replied to them, "The one who has two shirts must share with someone who has
none, and the one who has food must do the same." That's the preaching of John
the Baptist. Instead the Lord wants us to depend on Him, in His Word. Luke 4: 4

"Man does not live by bread alone." The Lord Jesus also taught us to serve others
as in Luke 22:26. The Bible teaches us how to live the early church in Acts 2: 4147. They persevere in spiritual matters in the Lord, stick together, and willing to
share. But despite continuing to share, their lives remain guaranteed (Acts 4:32)
because GOD bless them. In Matthew 25: 45 GOD teaches us serve ""He will
reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you
did not do for me."
So, Lord hates hedonism, because it is too selfish and self-indulgence. The Lord
wants us to be fruitful spirit in him. As Daniel obedient although among the people
of Babylon, in the life of luxury but Daniel maintain holiness and obey the
commandments of the Lord and avoid lust.
GOD hates free sex and youth lust in Mikha 7:5b " guard the doors of your
mouth

from her who lies in your arms;". GOD want holiness! Holiness before marriage.
