RESUMEN DE LA PRCTICA
ESPAOL
interatmicas.
ENGLISH
This lab helps us to understand the X-ray diffraction is based on the optical
interference which occur when monochromatic radiation passes through a slit
of thickness comparable to the wavelength of the radiation. X-rays have
wavelengths Angstroms, the same order as the interatomic distances of
components of the crystal lattices. By being irradiated onto the sample to be
analyzed, the X-rays are diffracted at angles that depend on the interatomic
distances.
