MEETING ROOMS: is a room provided for singular events such as business

conferences and meetings. It is commonly found at large hotels and convention

centers though many other establishments, including even hospitals have one.
Sometimes other rooms are modified for large conferences such as arenas or
concert halls. Aircraft have been fitted out with conference room
BALLROOMS: a large room inside a building, the designated purpose of which is
holding large formal parties called balls. Traditionally, most balls were held in
private residences; many mansions contain one or more ballrooms. In other large
houses, a large room such as the main drawing room, long gallery, or hall may
double as a ballroom, but a good ballroom should have the right type of flooring
EXHIBITION HALLS A public display of works of art or other items of interest, held
in an art gallery or museum or at a trade fair
BANQUET / FUNCTION HALLS A function hall, reception hall, or banquet hall
is a room or building for the purpose of hosting a party, banquet, wedding or other
reception, or other social event. Function halls are often found within pubs, clubs,
hotels, or restaurants.
BUSINESS AND SHIPPING SERVICES: Postal services, mailbox rental, retail sale
of packaging supplies, office supplies, shipping services [for the general public and
attendees]
These centers provide access to a variety of full services including:
High-speed digital printing
Binding and finishing services
Large format posters, banners, and directional signs
Faxing, computer workstations, and scanning
Shipping and full service packing
Electric scooters and wheelchairs
CLEAN IN / CLEAN OUT: At the time of move-in, provide clean and orderly
exhibition hall floors, meeting rooms, ballrooms, pre-function areas, loading docks
and support areas. Licensees are required to return all contracted facility space to
the same clean and orderly condition.
CONCIERGE SERVICES: Concierge staff can provide you and your guests with
maps of area attractions, events, shopping, businesses, and points of interest, as
well as make dining and other reservations.
ELEVATORS: Transportation of all show equipment or material should be made
using the freight or service elevators. Light loads are permitted on passenger
elevators only to those areas not serviced by freight elevators.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION: provide evacuation plans for all facilities

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS): the safety and well-being of

guests are of the utmost importance
ENTRANCE AND EXIT: All persons, articles, exhibits, fixtures, displays, and
other equipment shall be brought into and out of all Convention Center
buildings at designated entrances and exits only.
EQUIPMENT AND FURNITURE / LOBBY AND PUBLIC SPACES: All
furniture and equipment located in the lobbies and other public areas of the
Convention Center are placed for use by our guests and are not intended for
individual event use.
ESCALATORS: Transportation of any show equipment or material is not
permitted on escalators at any time.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE / CATERING: Catering services are provided exclusively by
our in-house food and beverage partner. Our knowledgeable and experienced food
and beverage staff takes great pride in handling every detail, providing the utmost
in quality and diversity while consistently exceeding expectations.
LOADING DOCKS / RAMPS: The loading dock areas are designed for the sole
purpose of facilitating vehicles associated with the loading and unloading of eventrelated equipment. For that and other safety-related reasons, general parking for
attendees or your staff is strictly prohibited.
MEDIA / PUBLIC RELATIONS SERVICES: Convention Centers public relations
staff must be available for consultation on event publicity, media contacts, media
handling, media logistics, and advertising.
PARKING AND FACILITIES: General Guest Parking, Motorcycle Parking, Oversize /
Vehicles / Trailers, Overnight Parking.
SIGNAGE / EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR: All signs, banners, posters, literature and
decorative materials must relate to the specific event held on the premises
