this color is shiny and it reminds me of heaven. Heaven is where God lives. The bible tells us that the streets in
heaven are pure and clean gold. God also is the creator. He made the heavens, earth, and stars e.t.c. (you may
ask the child what else did God create). He made you and loves, Read John 3:16a for the child. God is holy; he
has no sin in him. And because he loves you, he wants you to be with him. But there is one thing that can never
be Heaven. That is sin.

Do you know what sin is? (Let the child answer) Yes sin isand this makes God sad (ask the child to give e.g.s

of sin? That is true. The bible says in Romans 3:23. God punishes sin and the punishment for sin death which is total
separation from God forever. God knew that there was nothing you could do to remove your own sins so he made a way for
your sin to be forgiven.

Teacher: God loves us so much He sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to this world. Jesus was born as a baby. He grew up and
became a man. He never did anything wrong-He is perfect because He is God Himself. He was nailed on the on the cross.
When they nailed him on the cross, what came out of His hands and feet? (Blood). The Bible says Hebrews 9:22b .. The Lord
Jesus took the punishment you and I deserved for our sins. The Bible says that while He hung there, God laid on the Lord
Jesus the sin of all of us. The Lord Jesus died and was buried (1 Corinthians 15:3,4) . This was the work the Lord Jesus had
come to do to be able to save us from sin. But after three days, God gave Him life again. He raised Him from the dead! Then
the Lord Jesus went back to heaven and is there right now with His Father, God.

Teacher: He wants to forgive your sins, take them away, and make you His child. Would you like to read what He says to
you? (Reads John 1:12) Lets take it one part at a time. Received himeven to them that believe on His name.You need to
receive Him, or take Him as your own, by believing on His name. Receiving Him means you believe with your heart Jesus died
on the cross for your sins and rose again. You need to admit you have sinned and believe that only the Lord Jesus can take
away your sin and forgive you. He will put His life in you and make you His own child. You can tell the Lord Jesus right now you
have sinned and you believe He died for you. Would you like to receive Him right now? (Teacher ask these questions: Why do

you need to receive the Lord Jesus? What has the Lord Jesus done for you? What do you want to tell God right now?) Lets
bow our heads, and you can tell the Lord Jesus that in your own words. (allow child to ask for forgiveness and invite Jesus in
his heart)

Assurance of Salvation
After the child has prayed ask him or her whose child are you now? How do you know? Teacher: Lets read here again (John
1:12), but we are going to put your name in the verse. But to the child who received Him, to David who received His name, He
gave the power to become a son of God. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him, you become a child of
God. Lets read another verse. (Hebrews 13:5b with the child) The Lord Jesus Christ will never leave you, David. You can talk
to Him any time and any place. He is there to give you power to do what is right. Ask child Robert, will the Lord Jesus Christ
ever leave you?

No, the Bible says He will never leave me.

Teacher: You can put that promise on your fingers and always carry it with you. Jesus willNever leaveDavid. The Lord
Jesus Christ is always there to help you and give you strength to do what is right. (Hebrews 13:6)

Colour green reminds me of things which are growing, like leaves, grass, flowers and trees. This page reminds me of the new
life, the everlasting life, you have received from God. When you receive the Lord Jesus as your Saviour from sin, you are like
a new born baby in Gods family. God wants you to grow by learning more about Him.
Teacher: Lets think about four things you can do as Gods child so you can learn more about the Lord Jesus and grow.
1. Pray or talk to God everyday; You can talk with Him any time and any place. He is your Heavenly Father, and He wants
you to tell Him everything.
2. Read the bible
3. Obey the word of God
4. Witness or tell others about what the Lord Jesus has done for you.
