Introduction
This guide explains how to install the Admiralty Information Overlay and underlying ENCs into the 7Cs Orca
Master ECS application. It assumes the user has managed to download, install and register Orca Master. It
applies only to version 4.5 of Orca Master, the evaluation version which is the first version released which
has compatibility with the Overlay. It is also assumed that the user is in possession of permits for the Overlay
and the underlying ENCs.
When the Charthandler button is pressed the main interface window minimises and the Charthandler is
brought up. A dialog (below) asks the user to confirm this

wizard is started every time Charthandler is started. To restart it from Charthandler press the Start Wizard
for Chart Actions button at the top of the Charthandler window (highlighted in the above screenshot).
Once the Chart Wizard is cancelled the Certificates button on the main Charthandler window should be
pressed. This is highlighted in the screenshot below:

The Certificate Information dialog is then shown. This displays the current certificate installed in the system
which is used to authenticate the source of the charts being installed. The Load Certificate button should be
pressed (highlighted below).
Once this is done a file selection dialog will be presented to load the correct certificate. The certificate is
called primar.crt and is located on any AVCS chart media in the ENC_ROOT folder.
Locate the primar.crt file on the AVCS media and press the open button. The Certificate Information
dialog can then be closed and chart installation can begin.
