Course Description:
A primary course that involves the planning, design and construction of basic instruments for physics and chemistry laboratory activities.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, students are expected to:
Cognitive:
1. act as Helpers of God by applying the fundamental principles of physics involved in the observed phenomena
2. acquire empirical knowledge of the physical world
3. Apply concepts, principles and theories of physics to health-related situations
Affective:
1. develop an attitude of inquiry, appreciation and understanding of the observed phenomena in the environment
2. develop scientific values and processes that are useful in health-related situations
3. value the importance of physics to obtain a greater understanding of the world around us
4.
Psychomotor:
1. illustrate physics problems using diagram as aids in getting the correct solutions to the given problems
2. use simple medical instruments as a means of understanding problems in physics
3. develop proficiency in solving problems by applying the appropriate concepts, principle and theories of physics
