Attendance

Your place on our timetable is reserved for you and is a weekly booking.
We will be expecting to see you each week unless you tell us otherwise.
Payment of Fees

All fees are to be paid in advance in blocks of two lessons.

(If you cannot pay for a block of two lessons talk to us about possible alternative
arrangements.)
Cancellations

If you have to cancel a lesson, it still has to be paid for BUT is done as a makeup
lesson PROVIDED you let us know before the cut-off times.

Cut-Off Times for Cancellations

For lessons on a Monday through Friday: before 1.00pm on the day of the lesson.
For lessons on a Saturday: before 8.00am on the day of the lesson.
Makeup Lessons

Makeup lessons are scheduled later as an extra lesson in addition to your regular
weekly lesson.
Forfeited Lessons

Lesson fees will be forfeited under the following circumstances

You forget to show up or don't call to let us know you are not coming
You cancel too late (that is, after 1.00pm for Monday to Friday students, or after
8.00am for Saturday students)
Finishing Up

We ask for at least one week's notice if you decide to stop having lessons.

CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT - THE DETAILED VERSION
ATTENDANCE

Your place on our timetable is reserved for you. It is a weekly booking. You are not locked in for any length of time,
except for as many lessons that are paid up in advance which we would ask that you use up before finishing. For
students who are shift-workers or are otherwise unable to attend every week, special arrangements can be made but only
if those arrangements do not stop us from accepting a regular weekly booking. Sometimes we will make one-off or shortterm bookings for people in special circumstances, but these are by arrangement only. If you don't show up for lessons
for two consecutive weeks and have not contacted us, we reserve the right to book someone else into your time spot.
PAYMENT OF FEES
All fees are to be paid in advance. We ask that fees be paid for in blocks of five; that is, every five weeks pay for five
lessons for each individual. In cases where it is not possible for someone to pay for a block of five weeks, for example
due to budgeting constraints, or when a family has more than one student attending the school, alternative arrangements
can be,made. Please speak to us if you need to make alternative arrangements.
CANCELLATIONS
If you have to cancel a lesson, it still has to be paid for BUT is done as a makeup lesson PROVIDED you let us
know before the cut-off times. WHEN CANCELLING, TELEPHONE 34701079. IF THE TELEPHONE IS
UNATTENDED PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE.
CUT-OFF TIMES FOR CANCELLATIONS
Monday to Friday: before 1.00pm on the day of the lesson.
Saturday: before 8.00am on the day of the lesson. In the case of adult students, ths 1.00pm cut-off time for cancelling
will be strictly adhered to, and lessons cancelled after 1.00pm will be forfeited. For kids there is one exception. In the
case of school-aged students who fall ill whilst at school on the day of their lesson, please call us as soon after 3.00pm as
is possible, and certainly no later than 3.30pm. This is only in the case of a student falling ill whilst at school on the day of
the lesson where it is not possible to let us know sooner. All other circumstances require notice before 1.00pm. Saturday
students, if possible, should call the day before their lesson, but certainly no later than 8.00am on the day of their lesson.
MAKEUP LESSONS
Makeup lessons are scheduled later as an extra lesson in addition to your regular weekly lesson. There are three
ways in which a makeup-Iesson can be given. Firstly, in the form of a one-hour lesson, which would be your regular
lesson, plus the lesson that had previously been missed. Secondly, arranging for you to come in on another day in
addition to your regular lesson. Thirdly, during the school holidays, when only makeup-Iessons are done. Some students
choose to forego cancelled lessons rather than do a makeup-Iesson, and that is your right to do so if you so choose. If
that is the case then please let us know, otherwise we will treat the cancellation as a makeup-Iesson. Students should
make themselves available for makeup lessons as soon as possible after the cancellation since makeups will not
be carried forward for more than 2 school terms.
FORFEITED LESSONS
Lesson fees will be forfeited under the following circumstances
You forget to show up or don't call to let us know you are not coming
You cancel too late (that is, after 1.00pm for Monday to Friday students, or after 8.00am for Saturday students).
In the case of school-aged students who fall ill whilst at school on the day of their lesson when it is not possible to let us
know any sooner, the cut-off time is 3.30pm. In the case of school-aged students who have not been at school on the
day of their lesson, the cut-off time is the same as for adults, which is 1.00pm. If there is any doubt that the student will
be able to attend their lesson then it is better to call us early and be on the safe side rather than to call too late, since after
the cut-off times the teacher has to be paid and the fee has to be forfeited.
FINISHING UP
We ask for at least one week's notice if you decide to stop having lessons. If you decide to finish up, please make
arrangements with us to use up any makeup-Iessons or lessons paid-for-in-advance.

ABSENCE NOT DUE TO ILLNESS OR EMERGENCY

In the case of an incidental absence due to circumstances other than illness or misadventure, provided notice has
been
given before the day of the lesson, then the lesson will be done later as a makeup-Iesson.
