A plan and each detail drawing for piping shall principally be drafted in
these spaces especially, for plan drawing, match line for sectioned area
defined by key plan shall be kept inside of this space, however, the
dimensions, drawing numbers of connecting piping drawing, structural
column numbers and coordinations may be shown outside of this space.

DIMENSIONAL INDICATION
6.1
Plan Drawing
The dimensions on plan drawings shall be indicated in accordance with PIDM-001 without repeating. The item (1) to (17) indicated in Fig. 10,11,12
shall mean as follows
(1)
(2)
(3)
(4)

6.1.2
(7)
(8)
(9)
(10)
(11)
(12)
Where there are piping which are connected to run piping on pipe
rack at two or more different elevations, piping at the same elevation
(including those piping which run at the slightly different elevations
due to each shoe height) shall be grouped and the dimensions of
piping locations shall be indicated.
(13)
(14)
(15)
Where piping around plural number pumps are same figuration, the
dimension for one pump only shall be indicated.
(16)
(17)
Elevations
Elevations shall be indicated in accordance with PI-DM-001 without
repeating. The symbols (a) ~ (e) indicated in Fig. 10, 11, 12 shall mean as
follows:
(a)
(b)
Where piping around plural number pumps are same figuration, the
dimension for one pump only shall be indicated.

7.1.2
(1)
Sectioning of Drawing
Generally, towers and vertical drums have several platforms, man
holes, piping and instrument in a overlap so that the indication is
very difficult in one plan. In this case, the indication shall be made
on a plan sectioned at the platform floor as shown in Fig. 16
Fig. 16
(2)
Drafting Arrangement
Sectioned plan drawings shall be arranged in order from bottom to top plan,
from left to right indicating their elevations. However, where the
arrangement can not be made in one row, the arrangement shall be made
as U - arrangement as shown in Fig. 17, 18. Provided that no other problem
is involved.

7.1.3
Pipe Rack
(1)
Sectioning of Drawing
Sectioning of pipe rack piping shall conform to Fig. 19. 20. (for
reference). The items (a) ~ (e) indicated in Fig. 19, 20 shall mean
as follows.

7.1.4
Drafting Arrangement
(1)
Where upper and lower run piping on pipe rack are indicated in one
drawing, the upper piping shall be drafted on upper side, and the
lower piping shall be on lower side in the drawing as shown in Fig.

Match line
Where the upper or lower run piping on pipe rack is sectioned on individual
drawing, the unit number and sequential number of DWG No. shall be
indicated as Fig. 24 and they shall be indicated in note spaces on the sheet
by tabulation.
