3. System requirement
In order to Optimize your computer, you should follow the
following configuration:
Pentium 233MHZ or above
Memory: 64MB or above
10M Base-T Ethernet or above
WIN9X WIN2000 W INXP WINME WINNT
Please collect the related information from your ISP (Internet
Service Provider), the information is quite valuable for setting
ADSL Modem, then fill out the related detail in the related column.

(EOA) setting
1.
Check if VPI/VCI your supplier vendor provided is the same with
one of broad network connection setting status or not.
3. Save forever
If you want the set parameters saved into MODEM chipset, so
that the data is not lost next starting, you must access manage page in
setting Menu Select Manage Page in task column, click Save &Restart
item.
2. If they are the same, write down the low layer interface (ATM
interface) related to VPI/VCI. That is: aa15_*.

Select QUICK SETTING in main FRONTPAGE in task column,
access QUICK SETTING interface. Fill out the related information
the vendor provided in related place.
After the setting, other parameter is need not change, keep the
default setting. Then click ENTER button, to save setting.
3. If no any couple is the same, you need quick set the following:

Save forever
If you want the set parameters saved into MODEM chipset, so that
the data is not lost next starting, you must access manage page in
setting menu to save your setting. Select Manage Page in task column,
click Save &Restart item. Click save button, to save setting. Click
restart button, to restart MODEM.
.DHCP setting
DHCP: Dynamic Host configuration Protocol.
1. DHCP server:
DHCP sever can set MODEM into DHCP sever, and decode IP
address.
If only one computer connects to Modem, DHCP is optical, But
TCP/IP protocol setting are different. If many computers connect
to one Modem IP Address or IP Address is not enough, DHCP
server parameters must be changed.
1). Select DHCP server in local network, access DHCP sever
setting interface.
2). Click DEL button, delete the current DHCP sever parameter.
3). Click _ button, reset your DHCP server parameter.
4). Select DHCP Mode in the task column, access DHCP sever

5). Refer to the above way about save forever to save the current
setting.
NOTICE: Modulate ADSL MODEM IP ADDRESS, you should
after modulating MODEM IP ADDRESS.
2. DHCP Relay
Select DHCP Relay can make MODEM buffer, computer will get
IP address form ISP stack, so that RFC1483 computer dynamic IP
address link to Internet.
1). Select DHCP BUFFER in local network in task column, enter
DHCP mode setting interface, see the following:

NOTICE: After the setting, IP ADDRESS will be AUTO-SEARCH
status.
3.NOT DHCP
1). Select DHCP mode in local network, access DHCP mode setting
interface. Set DHCP MODE NONE.
2). Refer to the above save forever way, to save current setting.
NOTICE:
1). Set Network card IP Address and MODE IP Address, the same
network band (such as: 192. 168. 1. X)
2). Set firewall modem IP ADDRESS (such: 192. 168. 1. 1)
3). Start DNS, setting DNS sever.

1). Question: all indicators are not lighting.
Answer: check power plug well or not.
2). ACT LED is not lighting.
Answer:
1>. Check Network cable connect to computer network card
interface or HUB/SWITCH.
2>. Cheek PC or HUB power on or not, or work in normal.
3>. If single computer connects to MODEM, you must use
Cross cable. If HUB/SWITCH connects to MODEM, you should
use Straight through cable.
3. Question: Link LED is not lighting.
Answer: Check tel-line connect to ADSL tel-line or MODEM LINE
connection.
4. Question: Link LED is lighting, but cant land network.
Answer: Check VPI, VCI setting, check use name, password.
5. Cant open MODEM WEB setting windows.
Answer:
1). Check computer and MODEM communication is normal.
Follow the below: click start -> run, input ping demands. Ping
MODEM LAN IP ADDRESS. Such as: Ping 192. 168. 1.
1(MODEM IP ADDRESS). If ping demand is error , check
network cable is correct or not , other line connects well or not.
2). Check computer IP ADDRESS and MODEM IP ADDRESS are
in the same network band.
6. Question: Cant open Internet.
Answer: Check MODEM setting is right or not.
7. Question: Set by yourself, cant open Internet, cant re-access
setting interface.
Answer: Press reset button three times, reset hardware into
default status, and set parameter for application program or web
setting interface. IP address: 192. 168 .1. 1.
8. Question: Application program show speed is not correct.
Answer: Line connecting is not good. Click BRUSH button, brush
current latest MODEM setting.
