Palestine, a country in which about 5 to 6 million people live in, is a country with a

long history, but what makes Palestine a country known to every countries in the world is the
countrys conflict against Israel. The conflict lasted very long, because of external
interference, and lots of other issues. Palestinians actually declared their countrys
independence at 15th November 1988 in Algiers through the Palestine National Council
(PNC) and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The State of Palestine claims the West
Bank and Gaza Strip, and has designated Jerusalem as its capital, with partial control of those
areas assumed in 1994 as the Palestinian Authority. But most of the states areas have been
occupied by the Israel since 1967. The governmental system is in the form of parliamentary
republic. But there are political discordances among the leaders. The people of Palestine have
a long history dating back to even the prehistoric era of religions. And there are scientific
explanations that the Palestinian and Israelis are actually the same kind. But as the people
suggest, what truly differentiate them are religion and language. And from some point of
view, the difference itself is the source that gave birth to the conflict itself.
Palestine and the Palestinians themselves have been under the aggression of the Israel
country. There are a lot of proofs, starting from war crimes done by the Israelis soldiers to
annexation of territory with the reason of Israeli settlement. The Palestinian civilians are
always under the threat of missile bombing and massacres by the Israeli military forces. This
is why Palestine need to be freed, and recognized as a true nation-state, so that Israel can be
brought to justice for the war crimes that have been done, especially in Gaza Strip. As the
first paragraph has explained, Palestine have once declared their independence in 1988, but
the international politics have always been manipulated by the USA, which have always been
helping Israel. It makes Palestine had a hard time in declaring their independence in the
international court of United Nation. And till this day, Palestine still worked hard to get
recognition from the international world. It is to save Palestine, that we need to support them.
The reason why Palestine had a long lasting conflict against Israel is because Israel
wants to take over the territory of Palestine which they consider their land, and in doing so,
cleansing the inhabitant of the territory. And the Palestinian will keep defending their land,
even if its mean war. But of course there are other reasons as to why the conflict had lasted
very long. And from some point of view, the conflict started before 2000 years ago. But for
all we know, is that Palestine needs to be freed from the aggression and invasion, because
there are a lot of people that became victims and suffered from the conflict, so an agreement
of peace and recognition from countries around the globe are needed to make Palestine free.
