Espacio que difunde informacin sobre los documentos recientes ingresados en la

base de datos de la Biblioteca del INGEMMET con especial nfasis en publicaciones
referidas a Per y a la Regin Andina. Se incluye tambin otros recursos de informacin
de inters para el desarrollo de la investigacin geocientfica.

La base de datos geolgica en lnea GEOREF del
American
Geosciences
Institute
es
una
herramienta poderosa para iniciar y desarrollar
proyectos de investigacin. Permite conocer y
estar al da de las ms recientes investigaciones
que se realizan sobre un determinado lugar o tema
geolgico.
Permanentemente los gelogos durante la etapa
de
planteamiento
de
sus
proyectos
de
investigacin tienen que revisar los antecedentes
de todos los estudios del rea y del tema sobre los cuales se plantea los objetivos de la
investigacin. Entonces las consultas a esta y otras bases de datos en las etapas de pre
campo y post campo son de suma importancia para dar consistencia y elevar la
calidad de su investigacin.
Puede acceder a GeoRef desde la intranet o va este enlace desde las instalaciones del
Ingemmet y la Biblioteca.
Aqu un Manual de uso del GeoRef y material multimedia en audio y video que ayudar
a sacar mayor provecho a esta herramienta.
