The install path and IP are all example, please use the real path or IP when operate the
upgrade. The figures, orders and explanations in the guide are based on the Operating System
of Solaris.
The upgrade instruction of EMS is not included in this guide, please ask colleague of the
EMS department.
The software package needed in the process of upgrade must be uploaded to the server
by the ftp service provided by OMMB server terminal, so dont close the OMMB server
terminal in advance before upgrade, and when they need to be closed, the guide will remind
the user to close OMMB service and provide the corresponding command, and following the
procedures in the guide is advised.
Before upgrading eNodeB by OMC, please make sure you have closed the irrelevant
application programs which include, but are not limited to, all kinds FTP software, flow
surveillance software, anti-virus program and firewall etc, otherwise upgrade may fails
because the FTP port is occupied.
