Caboosale

Caboosale (Create Two Eight Ltd) is

a location-aware buying and selling app
that utilizes the camera and location
capabilities of a mobile phone letting
people buy and sell in their local area.
Some of the best features of the app are the ability
to sell things locally, by quickly listing items for sale
by snapping a photo, entering a price and an optional
description, all with the press of a button. Users can
search and browse for items in their locality, either through
a search and browse screen or by looking at a map view
where they can see other peoples flea markets as pins
on a map. A buyer can then contact the seller through
in-app messaging. The app focuses on local sales,
what makes it fun is the ability to search for bargains
in your area, we all love a bargain!
Caboosale was created with parents in mind whose
homes have become filled with toys and stuff that their
children quickly grow out of. Giving them the opportunity
to list and sell things quickly... But have the fun of a car-boot
sale or flea markets experience at the same time. It also
lends itself to micro-businesses, using it as a platform
to sell things locally, like homemade jams and produce...
Caboosale could be a platform from which
people can be entrepreneurial and create small,
local businesses. As its location based it can grow
organically, allowing users to connect and develop
a virtual local market. Traditional auction style apps are
fine for selling higher value goods, but why not exploit
the location and camera capabilities of a mobile phone
and have something that is targeted locally, that makes
it really quick to list an item, that gets people talking
to each other, that encourages community, an app
that encourages micro-businesses?

CEMAS were able to bring their considerable

expertise in UI design and branding, helping to
produce a slick user interface. CEMAS were also
able to successfully develop the iOS version of my
app to a very high standard and functionality.
In turn, it gave my company, the app, a better profile
for me to take to market.

drwy dynnu llun a nodi pris a disgrifiad dewisol, a hyn oll
drwy bwyso un botwm. Gall defnyddwyr chwilio a phori am
eitemau yn eu hardal leol, naill ai drwy sgrn chwilio a phori
neu drwy edrych ar fap syn nodi lleoliadau gwerthwyr eraill.
Wedyn, gall prynwr gysylltu r gwerthwr drwy anfon neges
gan ddefnyddior ap. Maer ap yn canolbwyntio ar werthu
eitemaun lleol, ac maen hwyl chwilio am fargeinion yn eich
ardal, mae pawb yn mwynhau bargen!
Crwyd Caboosale gyda rhieni sydd llond t o hen
deganau a dillad ac eitemau eu plant mewn golwg.
Maen rhoi cyfle iddynt restru pethau au gwerthun
gyflym... Ond i fwynhau hwyl sl cist car neu farchnad
ar yr un pryd. Mae hefyd yn ddefnyddiol i ficrofusnesau,
syn gallu ei ddefnyddio fel llwyfan i werthu pethau fel
jam a chynnyrch cartref yn lleol...
Gallai Caboosale fod yn llwyfan i bobl fod yn
entrepreneuriaid a chreu busnesau bach, lleol. Gan ei
fod yn seiliedig ar leoliad gall dyfu mewn modd organig,
gan alluogi defnyddwyr i gysylltu a datblygu marchnad
rithwir leol. Mae aps traddodiadol ar ffurf arwerthiant
yn ddefnyddiol o ran gwerthu eitemau mwy drudfawr,
ond pam na ddylem fanteisio ar weithrediadau camera
a lleoliad ffonau symudol a chreu rhywbeth sydd wedii
dargedun lleol, syn gadael i bobl restru eitemaun
gyflym, syn cynnal sgwrs ac yn hybur gymuned,
ap syn annog microfusnesau?
