Project Description:
Claims are processed through the Advanced Computer Claim Entry Support System
(ACCESS).
EZACCESS is a web based front-end to ACCESS developed in-house in 2002, and has
been the primary transaction entry facility for claims produced from policies issued by
all business units.
Core functionality includes claim registration, claim assignment, customer
identification, duplicate claim checking, policy/coverage verification, claim financial
processing (payments and recoveries), case summary and claim reinsurance,
however, is still handled through the ACCESS system functions.
Responsibility:
Involved in SCHIP module development.
Involved in Design, Development and Support phases of Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC). Used AGILE methodology and participated in SCRUM meetings.
Struts framework is used for building the Front-End.

Medicaid is a federal and state sponsored program which provides health insurance
coverage to the underprivileged. Mississippi Medicaid Project consists of an intranetbased system (MEDS) which provides a web-based interface to the case workers
(Division of Medicaid staff) to perform eligibility determination for a potential
beneficiary based on various criteria.
MEDS will be central repository of Medicaid eligibility data for the state of Mississippi.
The system will determine Medicaid eligibility for the Medicaid program applicants in a
uniform, accurate, efficient and timely manner. The system will also automate
budgeting, rebudgeting, referrals and caseload management.
Responsibility:
Involved in Dual Eligibility Module development.
Struts framework is used for building the Front-End.
Designed view page using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and JSP.
Wrote application presentation layer, which is based on MVC framework, involves

like Schedule a Test, Add a Question, Search Questions, and View Results. HR and
